Learning How To Take My Time With Art 

I'm still getting the hang of this, too. It's important to find a personal workflow. I work a full-time job at a school, and it's mentally demanding. On days that I don't feel like drawing, I usually take the time to search for references and learning materials that I'll use when my energy is back. It's pretty fun to browse through Pinterest and save some interesting poses, and think about how I'll approach them. For me personally, if it's a bad day at drawing characters, I'll revert to practicing basic shapes in perspectives. It's not as demanding, while still helping me stay consistent and figuring out new ways of drawing.

i wont lie, i think the burnout got to me when i tried to get a project done a day. just figuring out small things, and that was manageable, but i wanted to be ambitious and do longer and bigger projects that were not feasible in only a day and that got to me. gonna need some time to get back even if ive been on a hiatus for a while.
