I've been practicing touch typing for a month now. A month ago my average was 37 wpm and now my PB is 79 wpm and average of 67 wpm. I manly use keybr, but I always use monkeytype, 10fastfingers and typing race. Once you get where the keys are you work in consistency, try to make less errors as possible. My goal is to get a consistent average of 80 wpm. Someday I will get there. And good luck on your journey man 👊🏽
I'm 55, semi retired, and never learned to touch type. I studied literature in college, and my typing was excruciatingly slow and frustrating. I deeply regret not addressing that, but I'm determined to learn it now so I can enjoy writing again. It's not impossible at my age, but practicing the habits when young could have changed many things.
its been like 20 days since i ssryed touch typing and now im totaly used to it for normal text where there is no numbers or Uppercase letters im pretty sure i can do 60+
This is exactly the same progress than me. Wanna learn it, used typingclub till L350, than using kybr and monotype. It's Day 8 and I hit 40wpm mostly, record is 61 on monkeytype 15sec. I'm exited where am I at das 30.
I recently started learning touch typing... Without touch typing speed was 28 wpm but, I have set the target to reach 45 wpm in the next 15 days IA ( Round about 100 hours of typing i.e. 6 Hours per day) Wish me best of Luck
I've been doing touch typing for 5 days now, before I used to type with 2 fingers while looking at the keyboard. Today on the 5th day I'm averaging at about 45 wpm and my highest being 57. I wanna see how far I get to by the end of this month, great video tho and amazing progress
I have been trying since last two months and my speed doesn't want to go up 40 wpm. And you just blew it up 64 wpm in 30 days how could it be possible? Can you teach me how?🙏
@@nathanchan7067 thank you for replying back, and i would like ask you one last question how can I delete a whole word without clicking on the backspace repetitively, I know its by pressing ctrl+backspace. But my question is by what fingers should I press these two key? If you know please answer me and thank you again
you know what? Just keep practicing. it doesn't matter if you are the fastest typer in the world , or the slowest typer in the world, just as long as you stay consistent with WPM/ACC and stay consistent with practicing. You see me, I am 12 years old, (I know it seems weird and unlikely for a 12 year old giving advice, but i take that down to my grave i am 12.) But i can consstently type at leased an average of 100- 110 WPM and 90% acc because I practice like every day for a few hours on Typeracer and nitrotype. My advise to you: even if you type 1 WPM and have a goal of 5 WPM, you can get there if you practice!
