Never was taught Igbo by my parents but it’s crazy that I know what every thing means in English but if you asked me to translate from English to Igbo I couldn’t
Sweet! I do believe that breaking up the words & explaining them individually/singularly, also helps as well; it helps the learner use the words to make other sentences. E.g. Gini kaa i na-eme? = Gini (What) kaa (are) i (you) na-eme (doing)? (Something like that). Well done, guys...much love!!
Born in Jamaica, moved to france a year ago,so much Africans live here and allot of them think I am from nigeria 9 times out of 10 they ask that ,so I been searching my roots and came to.the conclusion I might be from the igbo tribe ...but the penny dropped for me and the Father showed me thst all that does not matter ,what mater is that I belong to Jesus cause when I die and hopefully make it to the perly Gates I won't be saying am from Jamaica or nigeria...boi country don't matter ...I just wanna say am heavenian lool
Hahaha your very funny by saying your from Jesus stop saying that Jesus is not real if he was real what are you guys doing over there in Jamaica? the same people that give you Jesus still enslave you in the name of still that fucking Jesus
This was great! Really enjoyed practicing!! I would love a video about practicing tense (past, present, future) in the future. Tense is like glue that brings a decent Igbo phrase together, so learning that is major for me lol
Thanks for slowing down the pronunciation! I’m starting to learn but I can never catch what is being said in other videos because they speak too quickly! 😄👍
Wow!! That's great, keep it up guys.... Just a little while Ugonna will be rapping Igbo like Phyno.... Hi- kedu ka imere, kedu,ke kwanu?, some of the igbo words can be use in different ways or things....jisike umunne m, ga n'iru n'asusu Igbo mara mma, asusu Igbo di uso!!
This is nice. But there's need to improve in the written igbo. For example; you need to know when "na" is working as verb and adverbs. Ya bu, mgbe "na" na-aru oru di ka "mgwaa" ma o bu " nnyemaka ngwaa " (na, na-, n'. ). Good job altogether 👍👍👍❤
Ewoo! umunnem, ndewo nu ihe unu na eme n'amasikwa nke ukwu, si jisi nu ike na olu unu na alu! onyeweanyi noyeru unu ma na agbakwazie unu umeh si te na afa Nna, na nwa, na muonzo. Ameeen! Igbo ndi oma nji biri kwenu!!!
Nothing like ke ki i choro.. What we have is kedu nke ichoro. Igbo is divided into spoken Igbo and written Igbo. The first one is a spoken Igbo and not accepted in written Igbo. We call it spoken Igbo because the sound and pitch was in total consideration when you write the letters
Hahaha. Chose the one that fits you. There are many dialects in Igbo. However, Gini k'ichoro is the central Igbo (note, the average Igbo will say central Igbo is invented Igbo and nobody's language, just official Igbo created recently from the universities to unify the Igbo language) My dialect will be, nini k'ichoro (owerri)
@@OkwuID That's the literal translation and may not make much sense in real terms. A typical Igbo will refer to a beautiful queen as, Asa mma, Ada mma, Omalicha, or simply, Asa, with some stress between the "a"and "s". As well as, some tonal inflections to further highlight his feelings.
