LEARNING KOREAN WITH BTS (방탄소년단) | PART 3 

First of all, I want to give you guys a big hand for trying to learn Korean by yourselves! Last year I saw the same materials and followed it too. But before I found it, I have already learned the 40 Korean alphabet so I won’t be confused by the romanization. One of the hard parts about pronunciation is it varies in different situations. Here you’ve learned gogi for meat and gaja for let’s go but actually the first g sound will be pronounced more like k. So it should be like “kogi “ and “kaja “. Last time you’ve learned jinjjia for really. But when j comes first, it will be more like ch. So actually it would be more like chinjja. That’s why when you hear Jimin introducing himself in Korean, it sounds more like “Chimin”. And last, about ibnida, it’s pretty safe for you to just say immida rather than imnida.
