For improving the speed on your tennis serve, you should think about gripping the racket lower on the handle. You will be able to generate more power but lose some control. For the free kicks, if you used a different pair of shoes, you might find it easier. The shoes you were wearing had thick bottoms making it difficult to get your foot under the ball and lift it into the air.
Well said, for the tennis serve, holding the racket like a hammer then hitting the ball flat with your wrist facing the net is a good way to generate power. Also throw the ball 1ft in front of you and make contact at the highest point while also jumping into the court.
Love how in a couple of the challenges you forget the original challenge and just try to improve. comparing yourself to the best of the best will only bring disappointment, but comparing to your past self brings improvement. It's a great lesson that applies to any skill that takes a while to learn. you can't expect to be perfect at it, but as long as you are getting better that's what matters.
Honestly out of all of the youtubers ive subbed to and watched, your videos are always genuine no BS and no cringe shit or over reacting or anything, just a normal dude testing his limits everyday big respect keep it up love the videos👍 . just shows people that they can learn to do anything they set they're minds too 🙏
My boy watches you all the time and I had to come on here and say thanks. Thanks so much for showing how percervering with something can get you results, and thank you for not giving up. You're a great role model. Your mum must be proud lol
some tennis serve advice: gripping lower on the handle, and making sure you’re using either what’s called a continental grip or an eastern grip (basicslly holding it sideways) will generate more power and control. also, when you reach the trophy position, drop your arm back and almost whip the serve to generate maximum power. there’s a lot more to it but that’s the basics
you also jump with the front foot and when you make contact with the ball you try to keep a straight body for max power. and you make sure to land with the front foot as well. the toss should also be really high and the jump should come way after the toss.
i think not completing a challenge you have is just as powerful as pushing through and reaching your goal. sometimes failing is okay as long as you try
it's crazy to see your journey from 8k subscribers to now! I've watched every single video since then and I've got to say, the quality you've kept delivering is what makes me click on your videos every time you upload. YESGO Mike!!
What to say for you! You are insane. Hats off to this man. You always inspire me. I have dream to try every sport in my life. The kind of dedication and consistency you show while learning something new is commendable. Your curiosity to learn everything is just insane. Many people in their life just dream to be cool but you actually put a great amount of hardwork to achieve the coolness. I wish the same for myself. Lots of love from India❤❤❤❤
Tip for bycicle kick:try facing forward, not side, and when u fall, put ur hands on the floor first, then ur back for a more softer landing, and that bycicle kick definitely didn't count since you didn't swing ur leg
tip for bicycle kick, *practice on a soft surface first like your bef, and then try sand, and finally the dirt. also land with your hands, i kick with my left leg in a bicycle kick so i land with my right hand, u can try and apply it to ur left so u kick with your right leg, also its better when you dont land first with the leg your not kicking with, keep it in the air*
Awesome vid! The knuckleball is considered a knuckleball when it knuckles when it moves around unpredictably you need more distance to throw to see if it actually knuckles but if it doesn’t move that’s just a meatball or really easy ball to hit. Again really good video!
I've learnt tennis since a very young age and have been able to do a decently good serve for a long time, but I've never realized how hard it could be for a beginner, props to this man for trying
Throw the ball like it's a dart, but with so much force that the air makes a bunch of turbulence behind it, that's what changes the trajectory. The key really is to make sure that the last moment of the throw is pushing the ball straight and then flicking tour fingers out so it definitely has the last bit of acceleration in a straight line
That was not a bicycle kick that was a scissors kick but still really impressive that you overcomed your fear of flipping and the shot itself was really good
Stavo per andare a dormire ma poi ho visto la notifica del nuovo video e mi è passato il sonno👍 Se potresti fare un video basato sulle arti marziali lo apprezzerei perchè faccio mma🥋❤️
For the bicycle kick try to jump as high as you can and don't be scared it's that simple... try to throw your self into it not too hard plus if you want a better bicycle kick you have to have a good cross and football shoes/cleats/boots and try to throw your left foot up an kick with your right if you're right footed And for the free kick try to kick from the bottom to top to have more hight and curve Hope that helps you😊
about bicycle kick u have just trust urself and for a tip dont let ur leg hold u bcs landing is gonna be more painfull dont hold urself with leg jump and when u kick the ball quickly rotate and land on side
I feel so bad and so good about mike I feel bad because he’s always hurting himself for us and he keeps continuing to hurt himself just to make good videos. I feel good about him because he always succeeds. Thanks to mike for the amazing content!!❤
Bicylce kick: To do a bicycle kick, you have to kick it almost like you did, but then you have to turn like a 90 degrees, and then you can land on your elbow, so it won't hurt.
It's about reproducibility. Kudos to you for hard work and determination man but the great players are great because they are able to produce these feats consistently and under pressure. That being said, love your content bro, you inspire me to push myself harder and learn new things!
For the bicycle kick you need to let go the fear and give your 100% while jumping, hit the ball the best way possible. After the contact with the ball now it's time for the landing and you should try to use your hands/arms to soften the landing on your back/side.
The fact that football was three out of the six skills shows how hard it is to master. It may look easy but it's only because professionals have refined their technique so much and got it nearly perfect. It's easy to start but easily the hardest sport to master
The side bicycle kick is actually a separate skill called the "volley kick", and I would recommend doing both on a trampoline or super soft surface before doing the real thing.
I remember learning almost every trick that has been showed in this video, because my parents would force me to play nearly every sport and be really good at it.
It'll be great for a 3M special to master the flips, in a save "professional" environment and maybe with a coach or in your own but I think it's a good idea to conquer you fear. Thanks for the videos once again amazing.
