Brandon trying to catch the oil in the cup killed me. The absolute panic in his voice when he was calling out for Angel was just *chefs kiss*. “I NEED THE CUP, ANGEL I NEED THE CUP! ANGEL!!” (3:56)
I showed this to my dad (who is a mechanic) and when I tell you, he started crying from laughing that hard. Your videos are amazing and never fail to make people laugh, been watching for a long time and won't stop anytime soon
Brandon, I’m sorry for laughing but I’ve been cringing this entire video, being a mechanic myself you did every single step in total chaos and I loved it😂😂😂😂😂 This has got to be the best AND worst oil change I’ve ever seen in my life, so thank you for your lack of knowledge Brandon. Thank you so much😂😂
I've never changed oil before, but I remember half listening when my mom ran me through the basics of it once (not showing me, just telling me about it), and so when Brandon started to pull the cap or whatever it was off my brain thought "but doesn't all the oil spill out when you do that?" and that was probably the most comedically timed thought I have ever had.
Brandon, a little tip. There’s these things called car ramps. You can drive your front tires on them to lift the car so you don’t have to be crushed by your own car. Also. Try getting a proper oil collector so you don’t have to use cups again.😂
as someone who has been a mechanic a good few years, this gave me a good laugh. reminded me of the first time I changed oil in college studying car maintenance. I misjudged how far the oil would shoot and it went right over the drain pan and onto the floor. Good times indeed.
@@AndrewB23 here in the UK you start college at 16 after leaving school, it was the first time I got to properly work on cars, I had done small bits here and there before but college at 16 was the first time i had the chance to work on fully working actual vehicles. i didnt grow up around car people or on a farm where performing your own maintenance is a more common thing. And you cant get a license in the UK until you are at least 17
@@AndrewB23 dude I know proper ase certified mechanics who started working on cars in their mid 20s while in college (he was too broke to afford a shop so had to learn and ended up enjoying it)
At the beginning I was panicking so much I was like omg what if he gets stuck he literally can’t move Then I heard Angel and I was like Oh never mind he has adult supervision
well i have a really weird bone condition kinda thing where i feel as if my ribs are being squeezed when my stomach presses on something so whenever he wenr over i was suffering
As someone who worked with cars for a few years, all the issues Brandon ran into are very accurate. Just replace dropping the phone with a bolt or a tool but very accurate
So I was changing a battery on a very old van my gf has. It had some weird posts on it, the size I only had one wrench for, said wrench was very small and I have relatively larger hands. Went to use the wrench and it flipped out of my hand into the engine. 5 days of looking and I finally found it, thank god I had my little magnet stick. Otherwise I would've had to pull the engine apart.
I literally was thinking the whole time during the unscrewing struggle...."Oh theres no way hes gonna let it pour out on him." Sure enough, Brandon didn't disappoint! Lmao "it's in my mouth, it's in my mouth" made me laugh so hard!!
I have fears over being stuck in between small gaps, underneath cars, small holes, and holes this made me laugh surprisingly he helped me have no fears about being stuck under cars thank you Brandon!
Not lifting the car, hot oil and Styrofoam. I'm nervous lol Post video: yeah, I was right to be nervous lmao hope you are ok Brandon and I hope your jeep still works Angel 😂
Hey Brandon Ferris, Your videos get more and more creative and I love it seeing you make every video as chaotic as it is and uploading the extended version of it, especially these kinds of videos of you working on things inspires me as a man to work more harder and smarter, it inspires me to be braver you make me happy every day, I wish I could see you in person cause I would give you a good hug and tell you to keep up the good work cause your helping people like me, thank you so much Brandon we all love you and appreciate your time when spending it with us
Brandon is literally my impulsive thoughts in one video 💀 Edit 1: YALL- CALM DOWNIN THE REPLIES. IT WAS MY FAULT BC I GOT “INTRUSIVE” AND “IMPULSIVE” MIXED UP. PLEASE CHILL 😭🙏🏾
Lol yeah he was actually pretty accurate with it surprisingly just remember to always check for the oil filter gasket where it mounts to the engine cause they can pull out and stick to the engine which would cause a leak and always lube the new gasket other than that Brandon showed it pretty well and what happens when you don't do it correctly lol 😂
Everytime I need a laugh, I stop by... Today, you definitely did not disappoint... I'm claustrophobic just even thinking about it but man oh man I needed this laugh today... Thanks a million Brandon for your hilarious and clean entertainment!!!!
I've had a terrible day today. my mom is in rehab and I miss her so much. I've been crying all day and struggling with relapsing, and this video made me laugh. Thank you so much I needed this.
As an HHR owner, I'm incredibly thankful Angel did not have one of these vehicles nightmares. We didn't realize how crazy they were until after we owned one and started doing our own repairs. Hubby his hand one day trying to change a thermometer or something and called me in because I have smaller hands. I, too, had that wonderful moment of "is there supposed to be something coming out from here" panic.
I’m a mechanic and this was hilarious too me. I love when the oil was coming out and your yelling and then all of a sudden the oil pan comes flying under the car. 😂
Brandon I loved this tutorial on the oil change however I don't know you can be that up close to the car I would get so claustrophobic 😆 props to you tho ♡ also that end part scared the shit out of me!!
Now this is exactly the video I’ve been waiting for !!! You should definitely do a mini series type of thing of learning mechanics, I feel like it would be the best videos ever an if not I’ll bow down for daddy Farris
Oh yes, make sure the oil is hot, there is no pan and leave the same filter on. Lol best one you have done Brandon. Oh, where's the trans dipstick? I know what the problem is, it ain't got no oil init.
Life is a bumpy ride right now - and discovering Brandon, I've been laughing my ass off. Physical comedy gets old pretty fast - but when someone is natural and very skilled at comedy, it's like a musician playing great music. Way more of an art form than most folks think. Great editing to fit the mayhem Cheers!!
my roomate is a mechanic. Watching him cringe at this made me laugh so hard! after the video I asked him to do my oil change. He glared at me. He knows I can do it properly myself, I dont own jack stands though and evertime he changes my oil I bring him pizza or make cookies. long story short my roommate desperatly wants to teach Brandon how to change his oil properly. He also says jiffy lube sucks but hes bias and cocky.
That gave me the old timer sweats. (Where you are trying to not correct someone doing something wrong so they can learn from their mistakes.) Funny stuff.
Hey he did better than some I’ve seen I’ve literally watched people put new oil on top of the old oil when it says they need a change without draining the old or replacing the filter which is a good way to ruin your motor
