We're the same age Mark, so well done for having a go 👏 We know people who have them and advise to watch the pressure in hot weather cos you don't want it to go bang! That would be expensive. Hello both, love the vlogs and have been with you from the outset. Just to say have you tried Hatherwood's IPA from LIDL (or LIDL's even) 5.5 and only £1.19 for a half litre. ALDI also do Hoopers IPA marketed as 'a proper hoppy IPA' at the same price. They may come close to a 'Ryte Nyce Pint'. Have a go and keep up the good work. We are only holiday boaters but love every minute of our annual trip. We have a boat booked from Clifton Cruisers on the North Oxford next May and can't wait. All the best Chris n Jan xx

Just doing an edit on my drone E58s I mentioned, but I saw on the last video you had a drone up, I assume this is your new one as the old on fell into the river, (I think) or was it in the sea. any way I bought a couple of Eachine E58 Quads they are the best I have had. I will send them a head of me, and Ruth will store them along with s couple of chests, Paddle boarding was awesome . Hey you did really well until the stunt man fell off the board. I ran the drone under a fast running tap for a couple of mins to wash all the mud and silt away, then sprayed it with live electrical cleaner put new props on, let it dry for 24 hours and it was as good as new👍

Yep hand pumping what a work out - your knakkered before you start lol - so I cheated here in the US got a shark electric pump (12v) magic - getting that balance eh standing - well screw that - buy a double paddle and sit on it like a kayak - much more relaxing - can even get a seat

Hi both a very enjoyable video my wife and I started paddle boarding a few weeks ago and are hooked, it's worth mentioning in very warm weather don't leave your board in the sun fully inflated the air inside expands and they can explode. Better to put board in the shade or water to keep it cooler, and deflate it a few psi from the max recommend psi for sailing.

I had a friend who was a kayak instructor who always tried to get me to come along to lessons but regrettably I declined, I'm not a strong swimmer and have alway been cautious around water. Anyway this friend has since passed and I might do some lessons as a mark of respect

@@welldeckdiaries5610 Well Mark I've just celebrated my 85th.I used to be keen on water skiing but haven't done any for some years but I still drive the boat for others on Skis and towed on single and double floaters so they got me on a double one with my youngest daughter and then careened up and down the lake at forty miles an hour...good job I've acquired a couple of extra pounds to cushion the bouncing ,boy did I need a nice cool pint after that *LOL*

I can imagine on the rivers will be better than the canal because I for one would not like to end up in a canal. With the 100's of compost toilet users emptying their piss pots in it. What you need to practise is getting on the thing in open water because that's harder than actually riding one and you can soon run out of breath and stamina trying.

Lovely cruising videos, I always love them. And the music. Archie is gorgeous and obviously needs dog-sitting by Deb. 🙂 Ha! professional stunt board, that was funny ... so glad you liked it and did so well, as you of course would have, Mark. That was fun to watch. I bought a Stearns inflatable kayak years ago, cost some money, but I've loved it and it's still with me even though I no longer own my 40-foot wood twin engine 1939 power boat, but travel with a pickup truck and 21-foot Canadian built caravan these days. Still ... to get out on the water is spectacular, feels so good, doesn't it? But I immediately bought a 12-volt pump to blow it up. Just a smart thing to do to reduce stress. And there is a way to add a cord between board and paddle too ... just saying'. 🙂 Sure love your vlog.

Hi Mark Debbie,well what a laugh on the paddle bored it looks fun but got to say Mark when you fell in the look of panic on your face was worth a million dollars lol you need to find a way of retaining your paddle me thinks ,the board did not look very stable comped to the one in the Marina I guess it’s because the one you got is a blow up bit like the doll you have hehe ,no credit due you done well for the first time ,it least it made Debbie laugh me as well and lots of other who watched this blog ,till next time take care keep yourself safe,John 🌹🇬🇧💕🌞🤝🏄‍♂️🏄🏄‍♂️🏄🏾‍♀️

Wow...what a man you have Debs..... well done for trying this activity... its not easy and I bet you found muscles you did not know you had!!! How long does the board take to deflate ?? Hubby has just bought sea shoes to wear now we live by the sea so he can start sea swimming again!! Think I will be watching from the sand!! Xx

Thanks so much. It deflates quite quickly, you just turn the valve a press a button in and all the air whooshes out, then its just a case of rolling it back up

Actually it is not a barrier. I'm almost two years older at 59 and I tried it out in Bristol Harbour in 2021. I'm going to learn how to do it. Properly and safely over the next few weeks. I've got a strategy of how to get back onto the paddle board for tomorrow of the 15th of this month and a final go on the 27th of this month as well. I have begun deciding to get a paddle board for myself. And going on longer trips on it. Though I may have to wait until next year. I am interested in doing so. On the River Avon or the River Wye though.

Well done Mark. Looks fun! My friend wears waterproof shoes as she doesn't like the mud and weeds around her feet, just a thought. Also you cannot see what's sharp at the bottom such the odd shopping trolley etc... You'll be in paddle board competitions before you know it!

Well done Mark enjoying your new hobby. Great footage of you taking a dip backed up by Debbie's historical laughing. We have just got a 2 man kayak and we go out with the kids and grandkids on their paddle boards and have great fun. We will be on our canal boat holiday in a couple of weeks debating wether to take the kayak or not. Keep up the great vlogs. Take care.
