I'm still unsure about removing time tokens. How does this happen?

Hi there. Thanks for watching. I don't have the rules to hand, however, from memory, you use movement to discard them, deducting the time value from the movement value. For example, if you can move three spaces but have a time token, you would first discard the time token at the cost of one movement and then move the scout 2 river spaces. Does that help?
