Kapi44 trust me, he's only showing us footage that he did get alot of kills because there are times when youre running to objectives or you just dont find anyone.
Yep. I'm playing PC lately and it's a sweatfest - everyone is super good and if you make a mistake in positioning or you're not moving into tight cover often, you're gonna get picked off super fast. In a lot of youtube videos I see, it seems like people are stupid NPCs just standing around like ducks to get shot in the head. I know it's cherry-picked footage but jeez.. makes everything look so easy.
Welcome to the Battlefield. That's a feature back from the first BF with the Frostbyte engine and will continue like that till they develop a new engine.
maybe you are moving around or getting supressed it happens maybe you werent on target at all ..try to record your gameplay so you can see where you messed up
Chicken Nugger dude I was playing today and came behind a guy and somehow the game swung me around and the guy was like WTF and blew me away and before he did I said my Hail Marys
Chicken Nugger for some reason getting a shot and using melee gets me a takedown and probing before hitting the knife nets me a takedown and of course from behind or the side
ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-586hEUov-zI.html Apparently you got X on xbox also. But isn't people moving a lot more on PC than console? Like from that part, everyones just laying on the bridge.
Funny story. I played PC the other day and got a 7 man kill feed by guys laying on and around the bridge on Argonne Forest. Don't kid yourself. There are noobs on PC and Console alike. I have an excellent gaming PC and can run 120 FPS on Ultra so I enjoy PC gaming, but my friends play on XB1 so I prefer to play with them. I don't notice much of a difference between Console and PC in regards to how players play. There are noobs on Console and there are noobs on PC and it blows my mind when people that only play PC look down on Console players based on some RU-vid video. Not trying to offend you or anything just saying. I play them all and it's all pretty much the same except for better graphics on PC obviously.
Cool. My prejudice is only based on the controller. Like it feels like it should be harder to aim and move at the same time with a controller, but I'm pretty much biased since I've got almost no experience with fps on consoles. But then again, it should be harder to shoot the guy laying on the ground... I don't know. Cool video anyways, gon try these things when I get home! :)
Thanks man. It was the opposite for me. I grew up Console gaming but when I got myself a nice gaming rig and learned to use the keyboard and mouse it was hard for me to believe how people are better with them than a controller. I now prefer the keyboard and mouse but when I was learning I was still MUCH better with the controller. Believe me, those guys that ONLY use controllers are complete beasts with them. In fact there are still some movements and actions that only seem possible while using a controller... but the same goes for keyboard and mouse. They can both be deadly tools if placed in the right hands.
I really, really, REALLY want to get into Battlefield 1 in general, but I just get demolished by toxic people camping in corners, (I play on PC) and it's absolutely no fun where you take 2 steps to try and kill someone and you're dead. Instantly. I decided that maybe if I get out of the way as a sniper, I might have a bit more fun, I see all these videos on RU-vid about people hitting even just regular shots, when I can't hit shit. Literally, as I'm quite new to battlefield 1, I have the SMLE Mark III, and I bought the Gewerh or whatever it's called, and I juts get focused down so hard, when I play a sniper, I still just die instantly from other snipers who are much better than me. I also find that my mouse is much too shaky and I miss easy shots. Please, do you have any tips? I'm so bad at the game...
Also in all these clips, I see people standing still, pretty easy kills and whatever game I'm in EVERYONE is ALWAYS moving. I can't lead my shots for shit either. I see you sitting out in the open, picking off people when if I were to do that, I would get shot, instantly.
Hmmmm I play on both PC and Console and there is a small difference in how people play but not by much. I pretty much have the same experience across both platforms. I wish I had some tips for you on this one but all I can think of is maybe you need to find some squadmates to work with who are more supportive. I always do MUCH better when I have a good squad of friends protecting, healing, and working together.
What game modes do you usually play? Because I tend to have similar experiences when playing regular conquest with spawns and enemy positions being so chaotic at times, but operations I find is a lot more enjoyable. You don't have to worry about watching your back too much and enemy snipers are way more predictable when they're all on one side. Especially on defense. But I play on console so I guess my experiences are tad different. My buddy plays on PC and he's told me that there's a lot more toxicity during games. All I can say weapon wise is maybe experiment a little as you progress through. Find a variant you like and unlock different rifles in that class to see which one performs best to your liking. And if you find yourself in a sniping dual or you feel that your positioned is compromised, simply find a new one. Keep moving and keep your enemies guessing. Hope this helps!
I usually play Team Deathmatch or Conquest rarely. And when it comes to unlocking new guns it's hard, because to unlock guns, you need to level up so you get Warbonds, to level up you need to be terrible, like me.
so I just redownloaded Battlefield one because I had the urge to play it. The first game I joined into, i ran 10 ft forward got sniped I then proceeded to equip smoke grenades and spawn on an objective. immediately i was suppressed by a sniper, I threw my smoke grenades towards the sniper then got shot by another sniper to the other side of me. I respawned yet again on the far side of the map trying to flank towards an uncontested objective halfway there I was sniped by someone all the way at the end of the map by the enemy Spawn sitting on a hill behind a bush. I respawned on one of my squad mates that was about to enter a fight, the gunfight was pretty crazy it was probably three of us and three of them and then more of our teammates ran to help and the same with their side and once there was only about 4 of us left and 1 of them, two snipers on the other side of the map killed all of my teammates that were there including me. I then proceeded to exit the game and delete Battlefield 1 for the same reason I deleted it in the first place
For some reason I find it really hard to upgrade the weapon classes. Has this been patched to make it harder now, I usually get at least 25+ kills with the scout class and I'm still only at level 2
Don't panic doesn't mean play slow, it means don't miss your shot because you're freaking out. It could mean different things for different people. Also these clips are from PC and XB1. I play both.
False, keeping your cold blood help alot when sniping. Doenst mean to play slow but just to calm down and wait for the good moment. The window may be smaller on PC but you still have to wait for them.
this helped me sooo much. I switched over from cod to battlefield 1, and in bf1 I tried to quick scope but I was always going negative. but ever since this video I go to higher ground, prone, then snipe. nobody usually kills me. one match I went 14-1
Dat Boi welcome man I get wanting a good k/d but since your playing scout cover the objective for the team and shoot your spotting flairs so points can be capped that is if you arent already doing that stuff
Let's clear out a thing: if you are a sniper or a gunner who is defending a position and is shooting at enemy as they charge as you - while being exposed to retaliation by other snipers/gunners, mortars, fixed positions, tanks, Assaults with their rocket gun, etc - you are not a camper. And if you are doing your job right, you may even be able to hold objectives single-handedly and significantly help your team win the game. A camper is a player who sits in a location where he can avoid detection and only fires when he can avoid retaliation. In this game, he's the guy sitting in that corner with the 12ga or the MP18 kneecapping people while making a SPM which is laughable. Of course he's not much of a problem in Battlefield because you can always BLOW UP HIS GODDAMN CORNER from the outside, but stil...
Already know this stuff, but f it it's Average!!! Great commentary btw I have noticed your commentary getting better and clearer over the past year!!!😸😸😸😸
Would have liked to have seen you sniping on fao fortress or Sinai desert to show how much to aim up over someone from a distance to hit them. But solid video. :)
I play on PC. I get swamped as soon as I spawn in and in a 15 minute or so game of conquest on any map, I always get like 5-8 kills tops and around 20-30 deaths. I can never position my mouse smoothly either. I can't follow a players movement while aiming unless they are a foot away and even then I've missed enemy players standing still right infront of me and often someone poppes up behind me as I'm about to get a kill and slaughteres me so quick. I end up in games with many lvl 80+ while I'm below lvl 10.
start lowering ur sensetivity a lot it makes it feel terrible but ur actually gonna be able to follow them and even get ec headshots. also what helps me is to go to the edges of the area so u wont get killed from behind and can focus on 1 side and stop rushing and camp a little more and use ur team to know where ur team is not to know where the enemy is
The increased bullet drop must be MORE than cancelled out by the increased bullet velocity. There's seems to be effectively no bullet drop at all in BF1 compared to BF4, even at long ranges.
It's not quite as sever, but it IS there. Out at 125+/-, you will need to adjust your rifles zero to compensate for bullet drop, anything within that range you'll likely not have to lead quite as much. It has taken me quite some time to get used to the mechanics in BF1, but once you got it, you'll be picking players off left and right. My favorite thing to do right now though, is to run with an infantry variant of one of the rifles. The SMLE is my most favorite so far, but I dearly hope they bring an infantry version of the Springfield into the game eventually (no, that abomination of a gun, the "Experimental" does not count.)
As someone who can't change their distance on their rifle because the button is broken, it's still there but it happens more at a distance then it did before because of the bullet drag.
ShallowDepression well it would be good for them but it changes for me when it feels like im watching pitchmen like shamwow guy selling towels. plus the heavyweight youtubers are getting stale.
Them getting access early would be good if it didnt come with an implied, but often not spoken "you better not talk shit about our game or all these goodies you are getting like free trips, early access and such go away"
i camp so much in COD that people call me a camper. they really want to say sniper. but they cant. lol its already bad enough that they got kill now you want them to say they got snipe by a sniper? lo
It helps your team if you spot the enemies that youre not shooting.. Remember, it's Battlefield everyone; The Q key is your team's friend (if youre on PC. i dont know what it is on consoles, but USE IT!)
Agreed although spotting seems very finicky in this game. sometimes I will have to hit spot 3-4 times before it finally registers and it is hard to tell which distances will not allow me to spot. It is frustrating!
xMxH i noticed they have to be in clear view not in fog or moving past a lot of objects for it to work which is cool its easier for you to get past people without everyone knowing where you are like past battlefields
Another tip: for those who want to look cool , use the Carbine Snipers, you can literally go into the front lines and wreck everything . When I first unlocked my first scout carbine , I got a 14 killstreak without dying in the front lines( I recommend Sinai Desert for this tactic) it really helps your team and it's a little different from other sniper rifles .
on that site you linked .. for buller drop it says for example 12ms/2.. please explain.. new to bf1.. coming from cod , run and gun ,, never like sniping in cod becausr too un real .. bf1 is different but holy crap i suck at it.. haha
Looks like you respond to everyone's questions so here goes. A. What is your favorite fast food? B. Best show on television? Talent you have other than video games?
level 10 in one day seriously ??? Im at support level 3-16. It's taking forever now to upgrade my sniper and assault to level 2. I'm getting usually on a low match 4,000 up to 8,000 on a good match but usually around 5-6 per round. Also around 15 kills to 10 deaths per match give or take a little. At this rate will take weeks. 6-8k points in 27 min and your meter hardly moves at all. Once you start upgrading one class all of the others take way to f ing long. WE NEED NEW MAPS NOW !!!! $ 80 for only six maps is digusting and already getting boring doing the same thing over and over for hours. Why didint they do a minimum of 10-12 I dont get it. They could have taken maps from the single player but left a few out ?
Uwot Matte trench war lol. go play verdun. then you get trench war. no one even touches trenches in this game. this has the least trench war in any world war game ever. especially for world war one. it is soo innacurate.
Frontline Fern6 yeah it's a fun game no doubt about that. But it feels just like battlefront and it got boring after a couple of matches. I would choose MWR over this any day tbh
What kind of magnification do you use with iron sights? Also, what's your preferred magnification for the Russian 1895 sniper? Would you say that using any kind of infantry variant is worthwhile, or just stick with Marksman/Sniper? Great work by the way, you're a good shot:)
How come with all of these BF1 vids, the enemy are just out in the open, usually facing away from you and the shot is easy as! But in reality gameplay, on say PS4, is very different to this! As well as the clarity and zoom and control of the rifle, is not as it is in your video! I am positive, BF1 is easier on PC with mouse and keyboard than it is using a PS4 controller!
Most of these clips are from Xbox One. Don't assume just because I save highlight clips for my video that it is "easy" on other consoles or platforms. This is simply a collection of my best clips or "best moments". Not every game is as good as that.
Thanks for posting these videos. I was having such a hard time getting used to the game because i have never played batllefield. now that i watched this, it has been a huge help! thank you!
Hey man, I just wanted to take the time to tell you how well put together your video is. I really enjoyed the video and actually watched the full thing. Just wanted to tell you to keep it up because people out here are enjoying your content. You got a New subscriber.
I really like your commentary man, it's very casual but manages to stay informative. You sound like kind of a goof, lol. Keep it up man i'm subbing for sure
Great work, I'm transitioning from Call of Duty and the bullet drop, playing obj, strategic positioning is totally new to me LOL. Thanks for the help. I've been here since 12K
ProbablyWorse- welcome! ive been apart of bf for over 4 yrs. im happy to have new players here. on the condition that new players understand its about team work, and its not as simple as running and gunning. spotting is also really helpful! again welcome!
afatcow123 is right. Teamwork and playing the objective are the two most important things you can do in Battlefield. Thanks for watching and I'm glad this video helped :)

Nice! I was wondering about that. Seems like every time my Scout class went up it was right after sniping someone, but it's good to know the objective points count as well.
I've always been a cod player, but now that I play bf1 is totally different than cod, mostly the snipers with its realistic bullet travel and anticipating the target. Im glad i decided to buy this game 😊
viktor svensson Don't worry, these ex cod fanboys will be moving back to cod once their franchise goes back to the past. We will then enjoy bf, while they repopulate their old franchise once again.
yeha this one is different , idk bullet feel heavier so they travel faster, drop faster, adn hit harder. theres just a heavyness in the weapons compared to battlefield 2-4 and the gay one
I do not get why when I hold the R2 button while holding down the aim sights, it does not shoot! That's why I'm really here for. Someone explain to me?
No, I’m not new to sniping or transitioning from cod to bf. ive been playing both for years it’s just this bf that’s weird. This game you aim on a player head but if your barrel is close to a rock you’re shooting rocks instead of heads.
20 camping snipers staying behind their own spawn lines. hate that. Trying to get snipers to play the objective and help their team more. I usually run with a full squad of snipers and we play up close and personal and are heavy on the objectives.
Don't get me wrong, bf1 is a really good game and it is challenging to snipe correctly, but I think it's harder to run around against a bunch of people using regular guns, and qs, then camping in the back of a map, which isn't a bad thing to do. Overall, it's harder to "snipe" in call of duty, than it is in bf1.
don't get m wrong I liked the video, just that one point doesn't seem quite right. it could be just the higher speeds, however I believe that compared to bf4 the bullet drop has been decreased, which in my opinion is far better. felt like I was chucking golf balls in bf4.
Check this video and look at the part where I have to aim way over the guy's head with my scope already on 300m just to hit a 450m shot. It's crazy. The bullet drop doesn' seem too bad but when it gets past 200m it feels like it just falls out of the sky. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-5-VlyxcngLE.html
actually it's not camping is staying one one spot for an extended period of time no matter what but what he is doing is called passive aggressive play where you stay take the enemies out then move from your spot to a new one
Too many people coming from cod. Play your role play battlefield the way it was meant to be played MEDIC =REVIVE AND DROP MEDKITS SUPPORT = DROP AMMO YOU CAN'T GET A NUKE IN BATTLEFIELD STOP TRYING TO JUST GET KILLS PLAY AND COMMUNICATE WITH YOUR SQUAD PTFO!! HYFS
I played five hours of multiplayer, but I could not buy a new gun :/ BF 4 and the multiplayer has gone very well for me. But the video also gives me a lot of help from the game! Thx you :)
You are the kind of scout I wish I had on my squad. Biggest difference I notice is that you are mobile. Capturing objectives is the name of the game. So many times I have seen snipers sit 100m before the initial spawn point and go 2/9 with 1500 points in a round of Conquest. I will be following your channel for scout tips, you got a sub!
