Bro you are the most underrated ytber in the world you make great videos btw I already commented this at one of your orher videos but can you try to learn how to ride a skateboard that would be cool ps love your video’s and keep up the good work love from holland 🇳🇱
as a speedcuber, i have massive respect for you. it’s awesome you followed mike’s tutorial which is definitely more advanced than what most beginners learn. it’s crazy how you learned f2l so quickly. the learning curve is steeper but if you decide to continue with speedsolving, you will have a big advantage. loved the video :)
Very impressive! I’ve been into cubes for awhile, my current record is 17 seconds, once you memorize the CFOP algorithms your time should drop significantly! You learn fast so I bet you could drop below a minute pretty fast! Your videos are awesome! Keep it up!
I love how you always show progress in perfecting it n you don't leave out of any failed attempts AND that you ACTUALLY don't know how to do it from the start . Some RU-vidrs make videos where they attempt doing something that they already know how ... which makes us viewers (beginners) think that it's not possible for us to do so. Best to say your video actually makes me motivated in trying things that i thought i'd never could. Never change mate!
It's funny how I actually started learning just because I was sick and tired of having our Rubik's cube at home unsolved so I searched up a tutorial and solved it then I was like this is fun and showed it to my family then scrambled it and did the same process a few times. I then went down and wrote down how to solve it on a sheet that I understood and for quite a few days I would literally sit at the table with the sheet and time myself while listening to music. It was so fun for some reason. I started out with a time of 10mins and was able to bring it down to 3min in like 1 week (it was so long ago I can't exactly remember) At that time there was like 1 thing I was bad at and still used the sheet until I got 2 minutes but I knew everything by then and I would lower my time until about 1min (I think) using beginners method. I had then hit a wall so decided to learn the "yellow" cross OLL which brought it down to around about 50s then I learnt intuitive f2l and then I really saw my time drop to around 40s after a few weeks then 30s after a month and then I learnt full PLL which over about 2-3 months (can't exactly remember) I brought my time down to 20s and then brought it down to my current pb which is 15s. It's kinda funny how I went from looking at a sheet while solving to get like a 5min time to getting 20s times consistently. The only reason I started was to solve the Rubik's cube at our house that has been bought like 3 years prior just sitting there unsolved and I end up with a 15s time lol
Thank you for your insipiration. This video helped me to solve the rubik's cube in under 2 minutes. It really helped when you've explained how to use intuition in solving the rubik's cube.
Just want to ad something. There are more than 4 methods when solving the rubiks cube. You just showed the more popular ones. It is really awesome that you have done a lot of research when filming this video which a lot of people aren’t doing (they are doing less research than you did). Good job man and congratulations on solving the Rubik’s cube (you are officially a cuber).
@@calebcarson7254 tbh, using beginner method along with some finger tricks as taught by the famous cuber/youtuber J-perm, its not a hard deal...just check his channel if u want to learn cubing too 😃
You motivated me to learn it. SO thank you that you uploaded this video! I'm really enjoy cubing, and I'm averageing like 26 seconds now. SO THANK YOU AGAIN!
@@KimTaehyung-xs5eg Well your comment is not fun. And the secret thing i’m using in my comment that nobody on the internet understands is called sarcasm.
I was having a squizze through your chanel today showing a friend and relise how much you cleared out 0.o although i have to admit that it does look so proffesional now and your chanel is really seeing that growth we were all talking about a year ago! Its so good to see bro! You honestly deserve it! Your video quality just gets better and better, just dont forget us lil ones when you hit a mil ♡
Yeah man I felt that was the best choice. The other videos are still on RU-vid I just put them on private. Maybe in future when I'll have more vids I'll put them back again. For now it's just better like this 😁
Thats what i figured, i dont disagree although i do really enjoy some of the older vids and i hope some go back up later or you at least react to them in a year or 2. I see the direction that your taking the chanel and understand why you decided to do it. The chanel really does look good now. I love the style and hope your proud of it ♡
I just found u yesterday and now I have almost watched all ur videos and I have also subscribed . U really deserve a lot of subscribes because ur content is amazing and I can really see how hard u work for ur videos 🥰
3:00 dude, that´s not the world record lol, 3.47 is the world record since 2018, but it is understandable you did not know it since the video is not that popular ... but still, great job!! I love this video, is so nice to see more people getting into the cubing community! I average around 9-10 seconds and these 2 years of cubing were awsome, keep practicing, and good luck!
I actually thought its something you are born with or born without. Like either you can solve it naturally, or you cant. didnt know i can learn to do it DEFINITELY GONNA TRY
I remember my first time learning to slove the Rubiks cube it was so fun when I finally learned it, I felt like I achieved something, after a bit of practice I solved it under 2 min.
It took me almost more than a month to solve my first Rubik's cube all by intuition. Although I did it but never had the satisfaction as I can't solve it any time soon. I tried some algorithms and cheat sheets but all in vain. Seeing your video inspired me once again to solve the Rubik's cube. Hope to solve it this time with the correct approach. Thank you Mike...glad that I discovered your super cool channel Awesome video and god level video editing 👌👌👍 God bless 💖
ngl I've always been amazed by how fast some people can do it, it's crazy lmao, good job bro, I'm proud of you, every week you bring something new and creative af
With efficient practice, you can cut your time very fast. I have been practicing for about 1 year now and i can solve it at around 17 seconds. There are many people who solve it under 15 seconds by practicing for just 1 year. But yeah, great job mike.👏👍 Hope you keep on making similar contents like this. 😃
My first day I was so obsesioned with the cube, I prefered the cube rather than my own cellphone because it was so fun to see how every time you are getting better at something 1 week later I did 42 seconds and now I am learning CFOP Any tip?
I'm a cuber with a personal best of 30.04 seconds in a normal (3by3) Rubik's cube. This feels so great that people are finally realising how easy it is and fun to solve a Rubik's cube and that you do not need to be a genius to be able to do it.
I love Mike shakes creativity, how good his videos are put together and his commitment towards his videos. Mike shake is one of the best RU-vidrs I've ever watched!
When I was first learning cube It took me a week bro because I don't have any time but after knowing all the methods it was solved in 5 minutes and I tried 2nd time it took 2 minutes and I am sure anyone can do it if you have patience to follow
@@MikeShake Ok cool. I like your flip videos the most (although all the videos on your channel are cool) so once you're out of isolation/quarantine learning it would really make my day.
Half a year ago, I learned how to solve a Rubik's Cube in 2 days. My record was 1:36. A couple of months later my friend taught me another algorithm in 40 minutes and my record was 2:03. Then I combined these two algorithms and now my record is 0:50 and I still practice using this algorithm. It never took me more than three minutes to solve a Rubik's Cube.
The best way u should do it is by learning the beginner method= Layer By Layer this will get u to do it in after a few minutes lie 6 for starting first solve Then after u do that learn advanced methods like= CFOP ROUX or if ya want to zz it’s not that good of a algerythmn but still able to use After ur advanced with layer by layer u can start off doing a advanced algorithm in under a minute He did this a bit Rong and could have taken a bit shorter! Still good job
Alright bro, I’ll set you a goal try learn a backflip this week on flat. Start by learning it on a tramp if you have one and then bring it to doing: Back rolls on a mattress Completely Lob sided back handspring on mattress Lobsided back handspring on mattress Back handspring on mattress No hand backhand spring on mattress (no land) No tuck backflip on mattress (no land) Tuck backflip on mattress (no land) Tuck backflip on mattress (land) And then take mattress of and do it on grass!😄
Its so late, but i agree with Mike, you just have to start. I started learning to play guitar, learned a new language and solved rubik's cube. Ended up atleast learning to do the cube. I sorta left the language but i know some basics atleast . Its worth learning something new
Same, I use the beginner layer by layer method(cuz I'm too lazy to learn cfop) and I managed to get 1min and 1s :). Not my average tho that was wen I got lucky and the yellow cross and mid pieces alr matched up🤣
searched this video 1month ago how you learned it but when seeing it again i solved it in 47 sec thats 5 time in the whole vid thnx buddy for your guidance on how to learn to solve it
@@sabihamahbub1710 dude i had this pb single of 10.7 and i couldnt beat it for so long until ingot a sub 10 in april end of april got a 9.42 3 days ago 9.35 lmao.
Bro learning how to solve a cube for the first time using CFOP is like someone who never touched a computer learning how to code, it's so hard and you did it. HOW??
Yes! I knew that I was close and I didn't want to made a mistake while using the last algorithms. I don't think it's necessary to learn them immediately when you first try. I learned them with practice
Man is truly pro!!!!. He learned cfop instead of beginners first. And it's now 1 year of me learning Rubik's cube. I still haven't learn cfop yet. But my PB(personal best) is 22.20 second. I can solve 2x2,3x3,4x4,5x5, pyraminx and 3x3 gear cube. @MikeShake pls make another video on learning next puzzles of Rubik's cube.
