Crack theory: the Glitch just wants to hug everyone and make friends.

Ive seen a few people say Black Hat from Villainous was the one who most likely caused the meta virus. But I say it makes more sense that it came from The Amazing World of Gumball. Seeing how the series ended and all that it really makes sense

Alright, so here me out:

There is something I really like about Pibby and is how the glitch zombies behave.

I honestly just want Chowder to show up, even as a background character.

I saw that all of the characters in the glitch were assimilated early in the run of their shows for example: Darwin was still in the season one style, Finn still has his old sword and Lady Rainicorn looks really simple

Though Close Enough isnt a CN show, it was produced by Cartoon Network Studios, so it should be included. I just want to see Candice getting jacked up on candy so she can outrun the glitch.

I have a theory. What if when the shows are corrupt their shows are now canceled and people no longer care for them. Maybe the glitch is just trying to give these shows a reboot of some kind by making them all dark and scary. Some other shows I like to see is Billy and Mandy The Knd Fosters Home and also Flapjack and Courage.

Honestly hope Robot Jones makes an appearance as a survivor

Knowing Adult Swim, the monster is probably an Animation file that got corrupted and melded with a computer virus like Abraxas or the Morris Worm.

So heres a fan theory ive been cooking up. For a while now ive noticed that a lot of cartoons seem to have this mistical black ick. This is what we see in learning with pibby, albiet less just goop and more pixely, but its the same concept. Ive thought about this even before pibby. It started by connecting the gendy tarticofsky cartoons, in a timeline, the original would be Aku, a foce of evil coming from a black ick. Then I think PPG would be next because the professor is like samurai Jack and mojo jojo looks like aku. Not quite black ick but its the connection here. And the big one is that Gendy's most recent series Primal, has a black ick that when consumed turns creatures into monsters. But ive also noticed in it other cartoons. Over the garden wall is a neat example, oil, a black gooey substance, is what keeps the beast alive. The turtles also seem to secrete a black ick that works similar to the one in primal. (making the dog a visous wolf) And theres one in Centaur World if youve seen that more recent netflix cartoon, the nowhere king is basically a being made of black ick. speaking of, more perdinant to this theory, the lich when broken out of amber becomes black goo before forming into its usual self. And there's probably other examples that can be found, like i imagine tar pits where at least mentioned at some point in the flinstones. And if we include the glitchy part of this, we can find even more examples! Like people have made comparisons to the amazing world of gumball's void, because of the TV static. This is probably a combination and mutation of both of these things, ocuring in every cartoon some way or another, weather we notice it or not.

The first thing I thought of when I saw the corruption coming for everyone. Was the Smooze from the original My Little Pony movie. Growing up I realised not many heroes cartoon or otherwise could fight it.

It would make TOO MUCH sense if the static is connected to the TAWOG, considering how it ended. But... I don't think that's very likely, because Gumball is getting an upcoming movie AND at least one more new season.

I just want this to be a series.

I'm honestly fairly sure the glitch monster turns anything it makes contact with into "normal" entities, I mean, its clear any cartoon character taken by it can stretch to unnatural degrees going by the overly sized smiles, and they take on the liquid/gaseous nature of the glitch monster itself, but that seems to be the extent of any abilities they keep. This might mean that it does the same with the various cartoon characters powers and abilities before they're taken in, hence why super strength and heat vision don't work, but regular non-special weapons do.

I hope we’ll see Ed, Edd and Eddy, Codname: Kids Next Door, Johnny Test (I used to watch some episodes of the series on CN), also if Muriel was in this, where is Courage :< I hope he’s fine :<

Theory : The glitch follows pibby and her friends thats why the glitch was in cartoon network

I know I also commented about this on the 'Explaining every reference' video, but I do still think the theory of a possible nick backdoor being related to that one ad that CN aired on nick a while back sounds somewhat possible. It could show that there's still links between the two cartoon universes, although not direct links, as the ad was played on a block that nick themselves weren't keeping an eye on.
