This is the digital pattern of an cosplay runesword. This is more of a mixed form between foam and leather build with a medium degree of difficulty. It is easy to exchange leather part with foam. So far I can only recommend it as a cosplay weapon, as I have not tested it as a larp weapon. Quite a lot of glue is used and several waiting times are involved.
The core is made by a smalle piece of wood wrapped in foam and leather. This makes it stable, good to handle and save. The overall weight is about 750g, it still has a strong swing, so it still is unpleasant to be hit by it with it, so be carefull when handling.

Recommended materials
- 2,5 mm (6 oz) veg. tanned leather
- soft leather usually used for cloth (2 straps 6 cm [2 2/5 inch] wide, 1 m [3 foot] long and wrapping for the handle)
- soft drying glue (wooden glue)
- Ultra high density EVA foam
- Low high density EVA foam (2 straps 2 cm [4/5 inch] wide 1 m [3 foot] long)
- Wooded or larp core square bar 1.2 cm (½ inch) wide, 2 cm (4/5 inch) high, 40 cm (16 inch) long
- Weight band (optional)
