Great video! I don't know why people who rant on for half an hour to cover simple things get more view than these thought out and concise explanations.
I really appreciate your clear explanations and demonstrations. I also appreciate the high production quality of your video. I did not know about this rotary knife before and I will look into purchasing one. Thank you!
Yes you are right. I did not include the head knife and quarter moon knife as they are more advanced and this video was to show only more accessible and beginner orientated knives. Perhaps I will revisit this topic with some head knives in the future.
They are great knives but I tried to cover only the more basic leather knives in this video. Hopefully I will get around to the more advanced ones later.
De nada. Tengo otro video donde hablo de cuero exoticos y doy ideas que podrias fabricar con ellos: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-TCjtRyjhHnE.html
Sure, it all comes down to personal preference. I find that the snap off type knifes tend to wiggle a bit too much for me. I haven't tried the BTC-1 before but it looks interesting.
@@TeranAtelier That means you've only ever used snap-off knives from unknown brands or snap-off knives with auto-locking, try an OLFA knife with a locking wheel because when you lock it tightly it feels like a fixed knife. This video can show you the significant difference between auto lock and wheel lock. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-UYRoUIO0nxg.html For snap off knives always make OLFA as your first choice because their knives have tighter tolerances than most other brands. Their auto lock knives still have a bit of back and forth movement that you can feel if you cut with a sawing motion or if you press the blade from top to bottom with your thumb but it will spring back up when you release the pressure from your thumb when compared to most other brands the movement of the blade of OLFA knife is much less and there is almost no side to side or upward movement. But for the wheel lock it feels like a fixed knife because there is no movement at all if you lock it tightly and to my knowledge there is no retractable trapezoid utility knife with the same blade stability as OLFA knife with wheel lock.
