Looking to make your own leather lace beveler, this is an inexpensive build made from PVC pipe and fittings.
Skip ahead to 4:16 to see in use.
Parts List:
1- 3/4"x12" S80 PVC nipple
2- 11/2"x3/4" S40 PVC tee
2- 3/4" S40 PVC plug
4- 11/2"x3/4" S80 PVC bushing
1- 21/2"x2" S40 PVC bushing
1- 11/2" S40 PVC slip cap
1- 11/2" S40 PVC cap fip (threaded)
1- 11/2"x3/4" S40 PVC bushing spxs (threaded reducer)

Followed your directions, thank you so much, the alternative was just way too costly! The tool works great, but for my use, I went with a 45 degree angle, I found using a good quality razor really helps, too. Thank you once again for making this video, you got me out of a bind with this!

@@BlueCro64 very nice taper, the plaits and braids lay very flat, giving a nice finished look.

As far as razor blades are concerned, I tried using Shick injector razor blades, but the batch I got were such low quality they were useless. I had a blade I buy for my strap cutter, and used that, it was like night and day, the quality of the blade really will determine how well the beveler will work!
