In this video, I discuss the difference between stitching chisels and lacing chisels and why I use the chisels that I do. I hope this helps you in selecting leather working tools. Stitching chisels are very useful in my craft. While I do not use lacing chisels to prepare for leather lacing, I do find a use for them. Lacing chisels can help in lots of projects and actually make saddle stitching easier because of the shape of the hole created. Thanks for sharing. The machine type stitch from the lacing chisels looks looks very effective on belts!

I really like my Weaver stitching chisels..I have yet had any problems with them..I also learned that running them over bees wax helps with the remover from the leather after piercing the leather...thanks for sharing ..

Thanks for watching. The set that you are asking about was purchased from Makers Leather Supply from Elm Mott Texas. They are made from stainless steel. @makersleathersupply1220
