You are 100% right on bad news and how it sells and how we evolved to watch out for the danger ahead. I think ALL your videos are great and you are a fantastic teacher of this. Well done and wish to see many more of your videos through South- East Asia. Brilliant. Thank you.
The "bad news" comments are so correct. Im am a retired Anthropologist . Have traveled extensively in SE Asia. Ready to leave Calfornia for good & live in Cambodia rest of life. I am 73. thank you!
Leaving Washington State. Tired of the high taxes and crime. Will be moving to Phonhong, Laos. My wifes home town. A sleepy farm town, with lovely people and slow pace of life. Just what I am looking for. No stress.
I am really enjoying this channel. The investment info., leaving bad news behind, and the general layed-back feel of your videos. I have to wait some time, due to commitments, before I can travel. Can't wait for the day. Great videos, thank you!!
aloha, brother, you are so right in so many ways! 1984, the book... these are some of the things that government controls people these days: sport, entertainment, internet, bad news... to name a few. many are falling for it and don't even knows it. i no longer watch the news and have cell phone since 2016, no tv, just this old laptop and a camera, read-read-read and write! select what i watch, just this amazing channel of yours... keep going, take all of us with your traveling. mahalo and thank you!
@@RetireandGo Yes, I went from Thailand to Laos, but Thailand is for me the nicest country in the world. I love also Hawaii, but less cluture, but amazing nature
Social media is to blame for anxiety and stress. Multiple studies have found a strong link between heavy social media and an increased risk for depression, anxiety, loneliness, self-harm, and even suicidal thoughts.
Very nice video. Beautiful river, stunning nature. Agree with meaningful good advice. That is so true. Love the friendly, loveable dog🐕. Thanks for sharing. Greatings from South-Africa
Aloha, Thankyou for always great video and interesting thoughts about diff. topics that i like. The Mekong river is one of mother rivers in SEA and a life source as you showed. 🙏✌best wishes
That tour looks so splendid thank you ,your stay in Laos has been an adventure to watch.Hope you can go-to the mountains too.I almost got set up with a girl out there by a friend ,but it's never to late 😆
Today, Saturday 16th we fly from Hua Hin to Chiang Mai, Sunday or Monday we will travel to Chiang Rai. Early next week we will sail down the Mekong River to Luang Prabang, it is a two-day cruise. We can't wait to go 🙂
I'm watching this from my $25 room in Luang Prabang. Just the travel channels on a huge Samsung smart TV. No crap war nor latest fear mongering plandamic news. I brought my folding bike in a Samsonite suitcase of the train from Vientiane. Just be self sufficient for a couple of weeks. With all other expenses more or less equal I find local transportation is where one can get shafted the most. Cheers !
Just discovered your channel. So far, enjoying the views that you shared and all the tips how to get rid of stresses and live in peace. Aloha! Thank you.
Thank you for sharing my home town Luang Prabang ❤I’m a Lao American citizen I have been living in USA over 30yrs , I been back to Laos only once it’s long time ago 20yrs now . I would love to go back there someday again. Luang Prabang has been my favorite place, peace calmness and relaxing 👌❤️
Thanks for sharing your thoughts..another great video...this is called slowing down and enjoying what life is really about...are you taking the train from Laos to china? i heard it is possible now?
I just came back from SE Asia myself......Visited Bangkok and travelled North to Chiang mai....Definitely going back....Amen to leaving bad news behind.....Enjoy your travels in retirement..I will be doing the same now that I am retired as well.🙂
@@VIP-j7f8k ...The bad news around the world....When we travel you forget about what is going on around the world because you feel you are in a better place while travelling.
@@RetireandGo long stays for now. if things get easier, I will consider longer stays. My stay this time is about 19 months total. I will get a 10 year Canadian passport sometime in April
Hello I really like your way of thinking about retirement I am from Canada and even I am older than you are I endup with the same problem as you mentioned in the video before this one. I am leaving for the Philippines in 2 days for 3 months to see if I would liked it but after watching your video I am also interested in Laos. I would love to know about the WiFi and internet quality and also can we go around speaking English easily or it’s an issue Thank you in advance and again I appreciate your way to describe the day to day life 😊
