I saw James King introduce that mandolin player to Jimmy Martin at the IBMA..They found JD Crowe and did an accapella version of "I""LL NEVER TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER". Jimmy for once was speechless..Saw this in the lobby of the Holiday Inn in Owensboro, Kentucky they year they put Jimmy in the Bluegrass Hall of Fame..
I've heard a story of Jimmy Martin coming up to James after he did a set and told him... "James... you can make em' cry, but you'll never hit that G Run like I can" LMAO!!
