A Master Craftsman, from dovetail joints to making his own saw bench and planes, not a screw or nail insight hardly. Superb, these skills are being lost today. I did Joinery and so recognise a lot of what he's doing, magnificent. I' m thoroughly enjoying this one. Great stuff, to see those skills being used and his craftsmanship. I love it. My late husband could do exactly the same, he was a master of woodworking, his art wasn’t as good, but the details in the transformation from an old piece of wood to beautiful pieces is something else!

Thank you for sharing. So much to be learned and appreciated. It's very humbling watching your work. I've been to Japan a couple of time as a guest artist in ceramics. I fell in love with just about everything I saw on my trips. The architecture, woodworking, ceramics, tea, flower arranging, painting, gardens... all amazed me. It seems you have mastered them all. I'm currently working on designing and preparing to build some log cabins and love that I found this for ideas to incorporate into my plans. I wish building codes weren't, standing in the way of being more creative. I'm sure this video will get numerous watches from me, as it has way too many beautiful ideas to take in, my brain is exhausted from a first viewing. Very impressed with your energy, ideas, skills and the overall magnitude of this project! Your mom must love it and be proud of the man she raised.

Well watching this video was one of the most enjoyable I have seen. Unbelievable talented man of many crafts and a nature lover. I love the way he is so creative, such a hard worker and a fabulous recycler. He is so particular with everything and even makes his own tools. I would rather watch these videos than anything else on tv. Such beautiful creations and I don’t believe there is much he cannot do with any craft. Congratulations you are a true craftsman.

I love the fact when you saw your grandson using one of your wood planners, you built him his own. I just think that is great. Everyone should have their own tools.
