Good advice, never forget that no one has your own best interest more than you do. Even you attorney has dozens of things going on at one time, and will tend to push for a deal to wrap thing up, just to close it out

I bet you ignored the signs that he was abusive when y'all were dating and warnings from those around you. people tell you everything about themselves through actions and words. now you are trying to sell yourself as a saint for people who ignored the warning signs making themselves victims. why can't people enforce boundaries??? you can't control other people or change them but yet far too often women think they can change their men. stop viewing men as projects. if men wanted to change they would. same for women. you aren't responsible for your ex's actions and words BUT you are responsible for your actions and words.
