Awww you guys😭 I totally get you. Me and my boyfriend only get to see another a couple times a year but when I have to leave it's literally like Niagara falls in my eyes. It's so hard. :( but distance is nothing when you LOVE the person so much.

I had an one year visa and he is the most unpredictable person. We started or official dating on 30th of April and I left on 30th of October. I started crying one month before.We didn't know what to do after.(I'm trying to be brief). He bought the flight in the first week of December for July.It was pure cuddling. When it was end of August I already was missing him terribly. Watching you videos and marriage proposals have helped me to go on as or next meeting is only in January. My friend, the right time to marry the girl is when you find yourself blurting out 'I need to marry ' and also when you can see it is hurting her not to. I was in this situation 25 years ago when we had been through 2 years out of 3 of my girlfriend (now wife) being away studying for her degree. We saw each other in holidays and for weekends about once every 3 weeks. We were engaged during her 3rd year so we could be married and together properly once her studying was done. Its not a marriage of convenience for the sake of immigration rules when you truly love each other. But every couple has to find their own way through this and make the decisions for themselves.
Right in the feels 😭 visas are literally the worst, most annoying, complicated, expensive, piece of shiz to deal with. I haven’t seen my husband in three months and I don’t know when I will get to see him because of the visa situation. Crossing my fingers for you guys that it will go smoothly! 🤞💕
No surprise that your parents get along so well because you both have such a great and genuine relationship both your parents I am sure can see that. So great Monica flew home with her parents that must take the sting out of leaving UK. Moving in together full time is serious step the settling in period and finding your groove is another challenge but you will both do great. Proving your relationship for a visa not sure about UK or US but here you would be recognized as being in a defacto relationship. Love to you both.

koala I talked to an immigration lawyer about it and the first heterosexual couple to ever enter a civil partnership was in June this year (as it was designed for homosexuals) so I’m scared to be the test bunny for the visa just a heads up I’d definitely speak to an immigration lawyer about it if I were you :)
Sam Patterson that was something i noticed whilst i was researching about it - all the government websites were saying “same-sex” couples so i was concerned at first. i saw the article about the couple that went to the supreme court in june though and although it gives me a lot of hope, i agree that testing in could be scary. but i’m definitely going to hit up an immigration officer and get more informed about it! thanks so much for your reply!

I love you guys so much! Sometimes I feel as though your channel inaccurately portrays how most LDRs are though! You guys generally get to see each other about a month a part and you're able to stay together together and travel for several weeks at a time. I was in an LDR for 3 years, so we were normally apart for about 3 months at a time, and when we were together it was for normally less than a week. We spent all our money on him coming home and since he wasn't home for long, we didn't get to travel anywhere. This isn't meant to sound hateful in any way, I just feel like everyone has expectations when entering an LDR and I never want someone to enter an LDR thinking they will be able to do things they can't! But I am glad you guys get to travel and do all that together, plus you are super blessed that you own a business together, that would be so awesome!
Sooooooo sad, if I had to do that going away from my hubby, I'll die... We have been together 15 years and married 11 years and he is my everything (second to Jesus). We are still in love and I won't survive one day without him being by my side...

How i proposed, it was winter and i had built a snowman outside our apartment. I put everything on the snowman but left out the nose. When she came out i said whats wrong with him. She said he has no nose. I said i have something to fix that and put a 2 carrot diamond instead. She said yes.
You guys could get a studio apartment instead of an apartment..it’s cheaper and you still have everything an apartment would have..unless you want more than one room then you get the apartment
