Thank you for speaking up for Lee, she was an amazing person that I enjoyed following on YT! 💛♾ This video was extremely relatable for me, I really appreciate your openness! 🗺
Kudos to you Bronte for your courage and honesty about your experience with anxiety and depression. I agree that it needs to be discussed and I hope this video is helpful to someone who has similar struggles. I do think, but the videos I"ve watched, that you have a great personality and come across bubbly and fun. One never knows what someone is dealing with unless it is shared. Definitely appreciate you and your willingness to tell us your story.
Thank you so much, that means a lot. It's so true, you never really know what someone is going through, which is why it's so important to create a safe space to openly talk about it.
Hey this is Sara!! Flor told me about your channel! I'm so impressed by your truck, your honesty and your life!!! Glad you're taking a break from the grind.... good for your mental health. And....I got so nostalgic seeing the lighthouse! Best wishes to you and looking forward to seeing your next adventures ☺️
I suffer from anxiety and depression and I will always be on meds for it. So you're not alone either. I think having the freedom to travel also includes being financially responsible for your own is just as important. So I think you're doing great where you are in every moment of your life.
I'm glad to see you again. Seeing you that you are much happier than before. Enjoy your summer and hoping you can reply on my dm's. Take care always Bronte and stay safe ❤️❤️❤️
All of this spoke to me very personally, from the mental struggles and including being from Oregon and longing to return home. Although I already live in a van I’m overworking myself to save up for a box van. Which means I’m stuck at a full-time job, not living where I want to live(even though vanlife is supposed to allow me that) because I’m making way more money here than I ever did back home. And if I can do it another year without losing my mind I’ll be able to buy the van of my dreams and not compromise on what I plan to with it. So I’m definitely prioritizing money over happiness right now and maintaining the optimism that it will be worth it in the long run. Anyway, looking forward to seeing what you do with your summer and watching you visit all my favorite places that I’d rather be than here 😂
That's tough - at least you have a goal in mind and are actively working towards something, definitely makes a difference when you know it's only temporary and will be worth it in the end. A couple summers ago I was literally juggling 6 jobs so I could save up for my boxtruck build. It was exhausting but I was able to push through knowing that eventually I'd reach my goal. Keep at it and don't give up on your dream! Haha I'll make sure to share my adventures throughout Oregon this summer :)
Thank you for the video. I'm so happy for you that you're doing well. I I'm sure that your parents are delighted to have you there at home. You are a bright, beautiful young lady and you will do well. I can tell that you're intelligent and thoughtful. Wishing you lots of fun in Oregon. 🌲 😊
100% happiness is priority! I sorta did the same thing you did except I quit a regular job and started a remote job and thats what made it possible to focus on my happiness. Im glad you chose your happiness over a job. Money can be made doing just about anything so why should we tie ourselves down and deplete our happiness? Absolutely loved your intro shot on this video by the way! Kinda like the fairies were watching you haha 😍
That's amazing! Exactly! It's such a freeing experience when you take control of your own time and prioritize yourself and personal health vs doing what you think you're supposed to do. Aha thank you! It felt very Spring Easter vibes :)
Do what make you happy! Love the philosophy! Live life to the fullest, doing what you love and what you are passionate about!!!!!! That is what it's all about! And balance! Roger The ExBassGuide
I just came inside, I'm putting insulation and vapor barrier in my 6x12 cargo trailer and it started sprinkling. I have my lifepo4 batteries, bms's and waiting on my charge controller and inverter to get here. When i get them installed I'll be starting on the cabinets and kitchen. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind me picking your brain? Did you screw everything to the walls? I'm thinking the heavier stuff i will be screwing, but as far as the legs that will go under them to the floor I'll wood glue and use my brad nailer, but im not sure how all the driving around and hitting bumps will effect them. Have you had any problems with things coming loose? And how does the pull out bed sleep? Im contemplating a murphy bed and going with a twin, the slide out bed cushion gaps seem like they could be a bit uncomfortable for me lol. You look tiny so maybe that isn't an issue, but im 6'2 and 225 so i think I'll want more support. Seeing your table that i wouldn't have room for is making me a bit jealous, so now i have to reconsider. I was just going to put a 4' long sitting bench in, and go with a tv tray. You did a great job, your build looks very cosy. I really like the wood you put down, gives it a cabin in the woods look. Thanks for any input on the building, God bless!!
Mot to get all preachy, but two years ago i was in the same boat. Kicked out my dead beat renters, fixed up my rental houses for the last time and sold two of them and the last one's on the market. I was studying Buddhism, quantum physics, psycho and neuro physiology with some biochemistry. (To help with the anger and depression) When all the science studies couldn't answer the big question i took some advice and got to studying the Bible which i hadn't done for years. If you want to find some good calming therapy i highly suggest it, it turns out science is explained in the Bible. Spiritual energy, and electromagnetics are the answers to life. The 3.5 trillion volts of spiritual, intelligent, conscious energy in our meatsuits is explained in every science and spiritual study i went thru. Bruce Lipton comes closest to putting it together, better than Jordan Peterson, Sean Carroll, Neil Tyson, David Snyder and even Alan Watts. Just a free suggestion, you figuring out money doesn't matter happiness does was my first step. God bless!!
Hey! Great questions - I haven't had any issues with things coming loose. I did a combination of screwing things into place + wood glue. I tried to make sure things were sturdy and secure while also having some torque ability for when I'm driving down bumpy roads. I've also seen people use brackets for framing which makes a lot of sense. As far as the bed goes I just did every other support beam stationary and the rest are attached to a board which slides underneath. The crack between cushions can get annoying honestly. Although I've found if you use a fitted sheet that's a smaller size than the size of your mattress it helps to hold them together. I tried industrial velcro but that didn't work. I think next I'll do some type of strap w buttons. Hope that helps. Goodluck with your conversion!
@@BoxCarChronicles Thanks for the reply, it does. I'll definitely get a good mattress and go with a murphy bed lol. A good night sleep is under rated!!
