The very best part of this story and there are many good parts. At the end I was left with an expansive canvass to write multiple satisfying scenarios. …warm sunny fall day, picnic on the beach, the ever present greed of the shoo fly, easily dismissed…thank you!
The best way to find true friends as do not advertise your wealth. If I ever won the lottery or came into a huge amount of money, no one would know I wouldn’t tell a soul.
It is obvious that Mark needs a psychiatrist. With a nurse for a mother, he should should have seen to it. No hospital would allow a patient to be away from their bed for the length of a poker game. A patient smelling of alcohol would be found out by the nurses and then the doctors. The orderlies would have been found out and fired.
Emily's late aunt must've wanted her to hear the dastardly husband and MIL plotting to take the inheritance. Since the MIL worked as a nurse at the hospital, she must've pulled some strings to get her son admitted. Also telling him how to act sick to convince his wife. By Emily over hearing them that got her safely away form those two greedy people.
Her husband is a cold hearted man, people who behave like that and used others to their advantage, always must remember that karma is a bitch. Whatever you do will come back to bite you when you les expect it. She was right to leave him, the only thing I disagree with she should have never told him the correct amount of money. God blessed the great aunt , she was a very wise woman and saw right through his greedy nature. Go live your best life and make sure your money is safe, where he or anyone else can not touch it.
@@funkyblu6662 No such thing! A person writes a will and the lawyer calls the person who is going to inherit. There is NEVER a reading of the will in North America or the UK
I think it can occur if the deceased requested one beforehand. I saw this on a reddit video, but a gentleman died and he requested a will reading. The lawyer played a tape the man recorded beforehand, which gave conditions to relatives to receive the inheritance. See, the man wanted the wife to live out her last days in the house for decades, and if anyone tried to get her out or move in before her death, they would lose their part of the inheritance. Well, distant relatives, I think a cousin of the son of the man, moved herself and her SO and child into the house and kicked the man's wife out. They were caught and lost their part of the inheritance, a part going to the neighbors who told the lawyer and the rest to everyone else. The lawyer had to do another will reading/follow up to play the second video that the man made.
