stgtravels i am from Pakistan Islamabad but I’ve been Iraq 2 times and am planning to go back I’ve been to Baghdad,Kazmain,basarah, Karbala,Najaf and I found that Karbala and najaf to be very safe and I was heart broken leaving the shrines bit I will be going back this year

MEA actually owned three 747 200 combis , from the late seventies till the early 2000's. They used to fly Beirut New York direct, as well as other sectors including London and Paris. The planes saved the company financially as they provided good revenues when they were leased to Saudi and to BA during periods when Beirut airport was closed.

The food in Lebanon including at the airport is the best especially the Baklava. You can fly Saudia, you just need to do an airport transit in Jeddah e.g. Beirut to Dubai via Jeddah.
Yes, I love Baklava! Sure, I could transit through Saudia Arabia, but I would rather wait until the Tourist Visa process is implemented, so that I can see the country as well.
Thank you for visiting Lebanon 🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧🇱🇧 I was on the same MEA flight to Amman last summer and I stayed in Amman for 2 days before catching a Royal Jordanian flight to Bangkok. Of course I am biased but I really think MEA is the best airline in the Middle East. I also flew Emirates and Gulf Air in the past 5 years and yes Emirates has more fancy interiors (not Gulf Air which had older aircrafts) but the airport in Dubai is too big (no problem in Manama which is small and manageable) when transiting (think 20 - 30 minute walk from gate to gate!) and the food at Dubai Airport is more expensive than Beirut and not nearly as good (they simply have no fresh vegetables and no local food production in the gulf region that's why). You should thank the Jordanian Government for slapping you as an EU citizen a 40 Jordanian Dinar entry 'fee' because they get you used to the fact that everything is inexcusably expensive in Jordan. I was surprised that in a country where salaries typically range between $500 - $800 compared to $800 - $1,400 in Lebanon restaurants and accommodation are as expensive or more expensive. I suppose it is because of high taxes on all tourists establishments there...
Thank you for your comment, and sharing your experience with Emirates in Dubai as well as Gulf Air in Bahrain. Indeed flying Emirates Business Class is in a different league, but I thoroughly enjoyed MEA as well! I also think the entry fee for Jordan is a bit high, but at least I am eligible for Visa on Arrival; there is no need to go to the embassy or fill out any paperwork before your arrival.
