I wouldn't say way better. I think he's more confident and comfortable. Lonzo, when he looks comfortable, is just as effective as LaMelo but in different ways. Better defender and distributor, in my opinion. And he's a pretty damn good shooter (now) but it's not getting recognized much yet.

@julian & @ Kai. How long do we have to wait for Lonzo to turn into this player that’s going to have everyone like wow he’s arrived?? Lamelo had a terrible first half, came out and no pun intended but Ball the second half. That’s something you can’t teach you either got it or you don’t. Lonzo doesn’t and it’s showing. Even more so that the little brother is going to be an all star next year. Especially if he wins a playoff series in his rookie year. The last rookie that impressed me this much and won in rookie season was D wade eliminating Baron Davis and that Hornets team. This kid is special and it’s showing.

People get high on guys long before they prove anything and you end up wondering what if about players like Brandon Roy (injury) Andrew Wiggins (still working on it, i guess) Rashad McCants (who?) and a whole host of other guys who show promise but never quite develop. That said, Lonzo's in his 4th season. Bron's been playing for 18. Lonzo has PLENTY of time to continue to develop into a better player. Melo's style is different, he plays like he wants the spotlight. Lonzo does not but that doesn't mean he doesn't have it in him to be great. Will he be? Idk. We'll just have to see.
