Shouldn’t matter about opening it especially with that kind of packaging. Never know if the figure is broken or stolen. Glad they’re bring back the plastic packaging!

This came out incredibly well, as a fan of the Spurs definitely not holding my breath for some legends like Duncan or Robinson I'd be all in, of they did a legends line 90s especially

Your father is a good and smart man! As a Celtics fan, we do not tolerate LeBron in any way. Cool figs, though. Kinda wish they would make the classic figs like Michael Jordan and Larry Bird.

I wish they would've done the 3 quarter figure instead of what they did, with marvel type artistic card. I loved the mcfarlane sports figures though. Those were great

If McFarlane was able to make sports figures for $20 then so can hasbro. I get that the McFarlane figures were more like the original starting lineups with no articulation. But still there's no excuse for the original price these were. Also the McFarlane figures had the players tattoos.

Regardless of what anyone says about them I really really like these figures. Im almost positive that Hasbro and Mattel does not scale together Mattel scales way bigger closer to the Mcfarlane Toys 7 inch scale. But I’m all in and if they do a legends wave I’m even more in need a Shaq figure and if they do Hockey I could die a happy man.

The no tattoos things was a deal breaker for me. The fact that the price went down I was like I’ll try some out. Got me a Lebron and a Curry. I hope someone does make the tattoos. Decals would be nice. I don’t do stickers. I hate they don’t scale with any of my figures. That’s my only major gripe.

With the sale that has them for $19.50, I'm skimming through vids to see which 6-inch lines their hands might be swappable with. Classified? Marvel Legends? Mattel? Diamond Select? Edit: pic at 7:37 is helpful. 8:40 okay, so definitely 6-inch scale figs and not 7-inch. Should tower over gi joe classified, and maybe be okay with some marvel legends. 9:55 well, if they were bad boy pistons releases, then those would be more essential accessories Unashamedly, was gonna get a ja to put in an applicable trigger finger to pair with some _"accessories"_ from john wick, or classified, or black widow releases.

I grew up on the OG starting lineups. I had most of the Oakland A's, I had a bunch of 49ers and Raiders including Howie Long also had the whole 91 or 92 dream team. I didn't need articulation to play with them. I feel this new rehashing isn't anything close to what starting lineup was. When I was a kid starting lineups came 20 figures per wave not 6 figures til next year. Not enough LeBron fans in the world to save this line

I'm a fan of the modern NBA but I passed on these at $50 and I'm still on the fence at $30. Although I agree they're a solid value at $30. I had Tatum, Luka and Ja in my cart but talked myself out of them. I'm a Laker hater too. Figure looks really good although I'm disappointed by the size. I thought or assumed they were taller. I could see this line being hurt by the plastic free packaging. They'd look really good in a bubble with the trading card showing. I could take the plunge if they make baseball. May get Tatum as a Celtics fan. There's so many big names in this series I assume they'll have to do legends if they want to continue.

Personally I hate the NBA as an organization and the fact that they're more about creating the star player instead of a good team with good fundamentals. If they came out with some classic players like you suggested I'd probably by one like Larry bird or Michael Jordan or from my home town pistons Isaiah Thomas or Dennis rodman

Should have made him more realistic with tattoo's but also, they gave him too much hair unless this was the time a few years ago when he was wearing fake hair before it fell out during a game, but he was #23 on Lakers when his fake hair fell out after that he just went with his semi balding look from then on. He should not come with a fist hand because he never threw a punch in the NBA to my knowledge. Congrats to LeBron on becoming the NBA's all-time leading scorer.

Zero interest in modern players. I may get Bird if they make it. Same with NFL. Maybe I’ll get Montana or Rice but no desire for anyone currently playing today.

With the legends/HoFers it might be an issue where they have to deal with the athletes individually since they are not part of any players union which im sure was cut into the deal with each of the sports leagues for the rights to their players likeness. Everyone wants a Jordan for instance, but any deal with Jordan would have to include his brand, which might be an even higher priced deal, bigger than Nike. Im sure Hasbro knows that most fans want the legends from each league, so we should expect to see them, but who knows how soon. The line was announced back in September and we still dont know when wave two is coming and who it will be (all we know is that it's NFL). They've lost any momentum and the initial prices were a major turn off. If they're sticking to the $30 price that's not a bad price considering all the rights they had to acquire. Hasbro should make a deal with Footlocker/Sports memorabilia shops to carry some of these figures in stock. Keeping them Hasbro Pulse exclusive kills any hopes for longevity if they arent out in retail and Walmart/Target are not the right spot for these.

I can totally get no tattoo as if you think getting corporate licences are one thing, imagine having to seek every artist to get agréments? Better time negotiating with nba than these artists I do have McFarlane sports where they sport tattoo but I don't think there were artist contracts back then compared to legalitites now
