LeBron James Nike Commercial - Swimming Pool. Advertisement aired at the beginning of the 06-07 NBA season. The song is "Summer Madness" by Kool & The Gang.
@MUFC bro noone in these comments section is getting paid playing professional basketball or football, who really cares which one is bigger or better lol
@@baselineleaner1064 TikTok didn't ruin shit. No one younger than 30 knew who Kool and the Gang were. 😂 I'm 34 so I been knowing them but I think it's nice seeing it introduced to a new generation.
Well, the Father-son conversation is archetypical of black communities. You know that uncle that always has an idea of how things SHOULD BE ? That's old man bron
Time goes by SO fast. LEBRON was around 21 when this came out. It seems like it was a couple years ago. He’s now 38 and almost done. Enjoy your life guys
@@themanspeakingtruthhe was this big at 18 😂 sports illustrated had him on the cover at 16 calling “The Chosen One” 🎉 dudes been to 12 Finals in this era I don’t that will ever happen again. In this era teams change too quick if you have even 2 good players you have to pay them the supermax then it hurts the talent around them its so dumb this era its gonna be impossible for one person to get to 12 finals ever again
@@jusbertmeza4424 We also had enough time to learn what we should and should not do with talented people so young, even if it had to be through cases as tragic as Mike Tyson and Amanda Bynes.
how is it the "perfect commercial"? It says nothing about the product... has humor which is based on nuance, at best (I'm still trying to figure out what the "joke" is)... and it only appeals to you if you're a fan of the paid celebrity. That is NOT the description of a "perfect commercial" in the slightest. Not to mention, I know the black man in the clip is a famous football player, so it was probably very EXPENSIVE for them to make this, compared to other commercials which can potentially do a far better job at showing why the "shoe brand" is a justifiable purchase when compared to other competitor's shoes (again, this will only "sell shoes" for people who 1) know who the football player is already, and 2) are a FAN of that football player). Not a DAMN thing was said about the actual shoe, such as claiming it is more comfortable than others, or that the shoe is designed well (will therefore last forever, etc), or that it is tough and can protect you from accidentally stepping on something sharp... literally NOTHING performance-related is in here.. In order to call this a "perfect commercial", one would have to be absolutely moronic.
It's just... every single shot is perfect, Lebron plays every role so spot-on, the music works as if it was written specifically for this... IDK. I love this ad so much I can't even put it into words.
@@earlem9771 Youngster? Lmao! I'm probably older than you. And I still say this is the greatest. Those penny commercials were good... but he barely had anything to do with them. It was more centered around Chris Rock's voice. Same goes for the Jordan commercials. Those were just excellent music and editing. Bron was actually the focal point here. Dude actually acted in these commercials and brought the characters to life.
Lebron made himself unlikable by saying dumb shit to the media over the years, and quitting on multiple teams that he put together once things started to get rough for his legacy.
@@em.5941 no one does anything different its all repetitive they all do the same thing. People on Yiktok ruin the most chill things and make it memes or ruin the song by dissing it or just using the slow moving filter. Don't come at me saying that I'm cringy when you probably do the same goddamn thing
@@codyjaramillo8065 but they weren’t as good as this no where close I remember seeing his commercials and be like bruh what is this 5 dollar budget shit and i will never buy that product based off how shit thisn commercial is 😂
I don't know if you'll ever read my comment but I just wanna say that you made my day. I discovered this commercial and this song just 20 minutes ago and now I'm in love with this piece of art
Classic lines from this commercial: "Stop lookin' at my lemonade!" "Oh Lord." "Don't make me get out this seat." "He won't get in the water. He don't wanna get his hair wet, pretty boy."
This commercial is timeless gold. I don’t even think this will age a bit because it’s going to stand the test of time. The baller Lebron himself, the Nike brand, the music, his shoes. Just gold right here.
@@Balal8281 I mean he was playing with a bunch of role players his first stint so him even having them in contention was a miracle. He almost beat them with Ben.
this is the best commercial I have ever seen from beginning to end. Lebron is actually a pretty good actor. I love how at the end of the commercial he still has the sunglasses on and is smiling while under water
Actually shed a tear. Me and my homeboys and our homegirl all copped the 4s because of this commercial. Went to school the next day and showed our natural asses 😂 man the memories! Miss them like hell!
I’m desperately searching for a playlist of videos and tracks with this vibe. Early 2000s, insanely good music and summer vibes. So far I’ve found Days Go By - Dirty Vegas, Lady (Hear Me Tonight) - Modjo, and this. Does anyone know any more?
Over 10 years old now -- I was in high school & now I'm 26. Damn I could be getting old. Its summertime, "Summer Madness." Still one of the greatest commercials right here. & LBJ is still handling his business
Takes me back to being a kid in Northeastern Ohio during the early 2000’s who like every kid I grew up with, we idolized LeBron so much being local to him.
I find now that LeBron is an older player and nearing retirement, I look back on these days at his early growth and start to appreciate him more as a player and an individual. Crazy how I'm actually starting to miss LeBron now even though he's still playing. Around this time Kobe, A.I., K.G., T-Mac, Tim Duncan, Carmelo Anthony, D-Wade, V.C. and a few others were just coming into the league or coming into their own as players. That early 2000's squad was special. Now it's just Bron left; Vince Carter is about to retire. Appreciate him while he's still here.
I feel the same. There’s a lot of good young players who could be the face of the league, but there isn’t going to be another LeBron. The NBA’s gonna miss him
Bruh I didn’t know the “oh lord” that I hear every where was Lebron from this commercial 😂😂. Why is this my first time seeing this shit and I’m literally a 90’s baby 😂😂😂
Gawd where these days go. I remember these and the puppet commercials with kobe. I remember thinking lebrons beard was to grey, now man's has real greys!! Seriously where the years go?
Here because this is a trending TikTok sound, but also because I remember when this commercial came out and it's still one of the greatest Nike commercials of all time. Also LeBron is such a great actor. "And STOP LOOKIN' AT MY LEMONADE" destroys me.
Seeing a lot of comments saying this commercial was recently mentioned meanwhile I just came for the nostalgic laugh 😂 funniest ad series of all time. Also an immaculate dive from the stunt double 💀
