If only he could “remember” that when he makes the decision to take a “rest day” with some fake injury 10 minutes prior to a game. Most fans save up all year to take their kid to ONE game a year or every two years so they can see their favorite player and hero, just to get the rug yanked out from under them at the last minute...do you think about them then?

I never grew up playing or watching sports so for the longest time l just didn’t see why it’s so big, but I’ve realized the most important thing in any sports is the fans, that is what they seem to be mainly about

People who are not athletes & have never played sports in front of a crowd will easily think that he’s being selfish, but he’s not. It’s the energy of the screaming fans that’s rooting a athlete on is what gives that athlete motivation to play hard. Think about it. How can you expect a athlete to play their very best in a arena where there’s nothing but dead silence & no applause ? If there’s no feeling or emotion in the arena that comes from the fans which in turn motivates the athlete, I guarantee the game would be very boring with no excitement.
