In hindsight, looking back on it, losing the Finals in 2011 was the best thing that could ever happen to him because it made him stronger, sharper, wiser and smarter. Even Bron said losing in 2011 was his proudest achievement.
I hate how no one gives the Mavs any credit 2011 sure the Heat shoulda swept them if they closed game 2 and if Bron played above average in game 4. Yeah it’s no coincidence Kobe and Bron underperformed against that Mavs team. No one actually paid attention to what they did defensively but they some amazing team basic all playoffs long. As a Texan I was happy.

While lebron was so focused on doing everything for the team by himself Dwight played his role and almost swept lebron. The Orlando magic teammates stepped up because they played their role. Mavs were a much better team. It's not like Dallas played above their heads, that Heat series was probably the worst the Mavs played during their 2011 Playoff run. If Dallas had played like they did in the WCF, they would have swept the Heat.
