Take a look at the Top 10 Plays of the season from LeBron James. James helped lead the Heat into the playoffs with one of the best seasons of his career.
+sonofaballer96 it's just that bad boy look, that jersey, those memories... He's done the right thing to go back to his hometown and I'm rooting for him to finally get some joy in Cleveland, but it's different.
The way you play is Unique and so entertaining to watch , i jump off my seat every time you pull out one of those incredible plays . Keep it ballin James !
I was at the Portland game for two of his top 3 plays here. Most exciting player I've ever watched, just so explosive. If you ever get a chance watch Lebron James live.
OK, I'll give you top 9. If I see his numbers rise, I'll agree on that. Thanks for actually discussing this and not just trolling like I've seen a lot of Heat fans usually do.
When I was younger I used to hate him because he was so hyped , but now I really like him and admire him without a doubt the best right now and for many years to come !!
Why so many people dislike him is so confusing to me... He is a dominant basketball player, and will probably be the best basketball player in the league for the next 2-4 years (and has been since the last couple of years), so at least give respect to his talent. People are mad about him leaving Cleveland... he took them to the championship with basically no help. He's a great player that deserved a ring so he moved teams and he got one, with possibly more to come...
every star travels they make it look so good like a signature like how they just started catching KG because his signature post move has started to slow down with his age
Depending what you concern his peak (2009 was his individual statistical peak, 2013 him impact/wisdom/team game). His 2009 season ranks up with the highest peaks in NBA history, including 91 Jordan, 00 Shaq, and 67 Wilt. Like I said, Wade had a fantastic season and a standout for a SG in the last decade, but LeBron posted the better numbers, on a 66-win team, and had a peak that rivals any in NBA history.
yeah, he had better stats on the cavs, he needed to take lots of control over his team. rashard, mo and varejao can score a bit, but thats really it. wade had inside scorers shaq, jermain o'neil, and haslem, and also had chalmers, who averaged 10 points a game that year, and haslem, shaq and jermain combined for an average of 37 points and 22 rebounds per game, and wade still got 5 boards. also chalmers averaged 5 assists, taking a good amount from wade, and he still averaged 7.5 still.
#9 see the little hop he takes whilst spinning (pause @0:31) that's an extra step and by doing that, that foot becomes he's pivot which he proceeds to move. #6 lebron takes 3 steps whilst putting the ball around his body. #5 lebron throws the ball ahead of him in order too beat the double team. he takes three steps, regathers the ball, does not dribble, takes 2 more steps. 5 steps in total. #2 dwyane wade takes 4 steps before even dribbling the ball. 4 uncalled travels in one top ten.
That's right. That's why he's number 3. And plus, he once got to the finals in Cleveland with that sub-par supporting cast, which Jordan never accomplished. All-time unstoppable team: PG - Magic Johnson SG - Michael Jordan SF - Larry Bird PF - LeBron James C - Bill Russell
Durant...is really underrated defensively. The only player in the league with both 100 blocks and Steals. I know that doesn't tell the whole story but it shows defensive activity. He has the athleticism and length to be even better though
Don't get me wrong, LeBron is a beast; but most of those plays were only awesome because a team member set him up perfectly. Try slamming an alley-oop when the dude passing has bad timing or bad aim. The excellent cohesion he has with his team mates allows his talents to shine. And they shine like diamonds!
Its not a popularity contest or gold star, the MVP is given to the player with the greatest impact and most outstanding play, which has been LeBron James consistently since 2008. Right now you are witnessing historic play that has not been seen since Jordan in the early 90s. Until Carmelo learns how to play defense, pass the ball, not shoot 12-30, he might have a chance. Until Durant learns how to play defense, he will have a better chance.
i do watch nba games. i do appreciate him even though i cant stand seeing his face, but im just saying, when people usually describe lbj, they mention scoring and thats where i find the issue. defensively he's great, hes a sufficient rebounder and a good passer
Lebron James totally deserves it. There was a reason OKC collapsed in the final. Look at how many playoff games Lebron James has played. How many losses he faced and there was just no way he should have lost another one.
LeBron never played with ANYTHING beyond a serviceable supporting NBA cast in Cleveland. that's as good as it ever got. he alone created the outsized expectation for that team he carried; it was never going to be met when they played deep, balanced rosters in a series.
Totally, but this is the player that was tucked away hiding on Mario Chalmers in the 2012 Finals because he was getting torched and couldn't defend without fouling. In a weak MVP year he would be a worthy top candidate, but he is going against peak LeBron. That being said I'm excited to see his development if he really commits to defense due to his potential. He has made far more progress in all-around game and defense than Carmelo has in an NBA decade.
wade averaged 30 points a game also, while lebron averaged 28 wade also got more steals, more assists and blocks per game too, and a higher field goal percentage, even though they both played 38 minutes per game
