LeBron played amazing defense on KP at the end of the game. KP choked though. Missed 2 straight FT's that would have put the Knicks up by 5. He'll bounce back from that, though. Great fucking game.
Hensley Mayne Not really because 7’3 have longer legs should be able to move faster but it’s just that lebron is very athletic so that’s why he is so much faster
for anyone saying leBron can't one on one defend anymore he flat out locked up porzingis in the 4th, don't @ me unless you actually watched the game, leBron is still the most versatile player in the league and thats not debatable
Don't be a casual, if you understand basketball you would know Lebron has to create all of it, Lebron will make you look special if your shot starts falling, look at all the heat checks Korver has been on since he came to the Cavs compared to his last few years in Atlanta where people were calling him washed! Korver went video game but lets be real on who the MVP is, Lebron scored or assisted on 29 points in the 4th
A. Nobody called Korver washed when he was in Atlanta. He was one if the key pieces there running off screens and shooting threes like he does here. Guy earned his 1st and only all star apperance there. B. You're really gonna act like it was ALL Lebron. U act like every shot Korver took was wide open. Don't get me wrong Bron helped a lot in terms of spacing but that don't matter if shots don't go in. C. Watch who u call a casual.
Thats the damn problem with all u LBJ bandwagons. If they dont win Lebron needs help. If they do win its all Lebron. Is he a 🐐? Yes, but stop acting like he cant do wrong.
WHAT? Korver in his last 2 seasons with the Hawks started going down in stats and percentages, and was starting to play less minutes. Was scoring his least points since 2011 when he was a Bull. He rarely had any of those heat checks and crazy games from 3 we would be accustomed to see. As soon as he came to the Cavs in the middle of the season he started exploding, and he had another one of those explosions with Lebron assisting on nearly every shot here tonight. But this is way besides the point. This has nothing to do with overrating Lebron. Korver has to make the shots, but it all starts with lebron, that's the point I was trying to make with what a "mvp" is.....you called korver the mvp of the fourth, i'm saying if you watched the game and watched what lebron was doing on both sides of the ball creating and initiating everything you would know Lebron was the "mvp" of the fourth....i'm just tryna clean up ur comment a bit ;)
I'm not taking anything away from Korver, dude went crazy mode and was hitting shots he had no business of making, the only point I'm tryna make is that Lebron was still the mvp of the game and assisted or scored on 28 points in the 4th, locked down a 7'3 unicorn blocking a KP fadeaway which is nearly impossible in the 4th and comes and hits the dagger 3 in his face. Rebounding, assisting, bringing the ball up, getting into the lane and wrecking havoc, it all simply starts with lebron. I can tell you have some basketball sense so why try to shade the MVP in the title for Lebron and say Korver the real MVP lolol, that's really all im getting at here. Just say Korver went off!!!! Cheers!!!!!
Are we gonna ignore the fact LeBron locked down the "unguardable" Porzingis in a few possessions and drained a clutch 3 on his 7'3 ass. He would have been crucified if he didn't make that 3 or if it was Porzingis locking up Bron. GIVE HIM HIS PROPS HYPOCRITES
People literally just don't understand how great Lebron is at basketball. Like for example at around 2:45 he works to the block backs down lee but absolutely never has the intent to shoot it. he waits till right when the help defense has collapsed just enough for him to kick to crowder for the three absolutely brilliant
5:18 is why LeBron is so special. He sees the play happening before it comes to anyone else's thoughts. In this play, he could have passed it up to Korver but he knew that they ran the exact same play last possession and this time, they had Porzingis all over that area. So LeBron directs Korver to make a play towards the basket and allowing Frye to get more space for the wide open three. Little things like that that go unnoticed. No one does it better than Bron. His basketball IQ is his greatest strength - which is amazing considering his athleticism is one of the greatest we've seen in any sport. Much props to the King.
Best announcers in the business along with Gus Johnson when he's motivated. Madison Square always brings out the best in opponents. Porzingis will a top 3 player in a couple years. He just needs to add strength. Lebron shows he can guard Porzingis because of his strength and quickness. What a game by the shooters for the Cavs.
Nick G bro he's 7'3. Imagine someone 6 inches smaller than you boxing out your knees. His upper body can't handle it. And Jae Crowder and Lebron were literally grappling his jersey most of the time
ISO Melo are you trying to convince other people that Lebron didn’t lock down porzingis or just yourself? Lebron shut down porzingis in the 4th. Accept it and move on
KP looket tired from the beginning - missed easy shots (for him) - Team was playing nice in 1st period - 2nd they did not have the experience against veterans - my thoughts :/
Lebron could literally block the air out of the ball on defense in the fourth come down the floor once they got a new ball legit break some bodies ankle on a crossover and drain a dagger and have some crazy stat line and people would still have some stupid shit to say trying to take it away from him lol
lol Hardaway was dancing all over the floor when they were up 20+, but you salty about a player standing right in front of another player. Not to mention Frank was the pushing, LeBron did nothing but stare at him
neither of them are a real candidate for the MVP title.. just saying.. James Harden probably will take it this season.. and the secont one who is close to the title is Giannis.. just facts
Look at how far KP has came in just one year and 22 yrs old .yeah he's going to only get better from this .how many games did LeBron choke early in his career basically until he went to the Heat..So the unicorn will be back and better
I really like KP but LeBron challenged him and he wasn't ready tonight. Too be fair though I can't remember when the last time LeBron played like that on Defense was.
It’s funny cause last game he was dropping off lebron and Tristan and no one say nun but when KP get locked up only 2 Poseidon fourth quarter they automatically talk trash and give bron all the credit
They fouled Zingis anytime they were near him. Refrees didn't give Zingis respect and call the fouls while Lebron had every whistle go in his favor. Zingis will have his revenge...
bro lebron vs kp is a mitsmatch on both ends of the floor this dude lebrin was not letting him breat at all it was hard to watch at what point lebron is better
Funny I had thought everyone's problem with the Cavs was their trash defense, but when they win no one cares that they actually are showing that they are getting it together defensively smh
Celtics Nation if the situation was reversed and Korver hit the clutch theee at the end to put them up and Lebron scored 19 points to get them in position to win, you would still probably say Korver is the reason cavs won. Lebron is usually the guy that scores a ton and then a teammate hits a clutch shot. You’re basically admitted that Lebron is a closer since he constantly does what Korver did this game to put his team in position to win. You haters are insane man
No I wouldn't lol.... Give LeBron credit where its due but Korver won them the game, not LeBron. He hit every important shot and they got back into the game when LeBron was on the bench.
Celtics Nation so who won game 6 of the 2013 finals? Ray Allen or Lebron James? Lebron scored 16 points in the 4th when they were getting blown out and put Allen in position to hit the three. Similar to what Korver did last night. Let’s see what your answer is lol
LeBron did.... And he should get credit for that. But he missed the final shot of the game and Ray Allen sealed the deal with a clutch play from Chris Bosh. LeBron doesn't have the capacity to hit threes in those clutch situations. He did so today against Enes Kanter, a notoriously terrible defender. Kobe or Jordan would not have missed that shot. KD hit a dagger three in LeBron face, a game he should have closed. He is not a clutch player but has moments because of how many games he has been.
Celtics Nation he made the shot on porzingis not kanter. He’s not a clutch player but has made as many game winning shots as Jordan in the playoffs? The highest point per game average for game 7s and elimination games but he’s not a clutch player lol. Oh and you also admitted that Lebron closed game 7 of the 2016 finals not Kyrie since Lebron scored 12 of the cavs 16 points in the 4th quarter. Kyries shot didn’t matter since he made it on a notoriously bad defender Stephen curry lmao. See how easy it is to dismantle all your weak arguments? Just comment I hate Lebron from now on and stop making yourselves look stupid
All that clutch shit going on in the fourth from Korver and then LeBron with 1min to go. Somehow someway Skip Bayless will still bring up how LeBron missed 2 FTs lmao it’s just predictable
I aint gonna lie lebitch did his thing tonite but cmon kebitch be actin like a diva lately like dude aint u the so called best in the nba y r u acting like gurl for but porzingis had a decent game the knicks fought hard which is good even tho they lost i like tht they showed fight
