@ 43.20 -- Curve plotting confusion can be avoided by looking at the value of slope of the Bending Moment at 'A' .. which must be zero as the shear force at A is zero that means at a our tangent should be horizontal... that is only possible if we plot BMD curve inwards rather than outside... otherwise we will not get slope of BMD at A = zero......

In what way can we shift the moment from one position to another ? Like we used to resolve a force into a force and a moment.

Moment is a free vector, it can shifted as it is anywhere and it cannot be resolved

Shear force is positive on left side upward & on right side downward negative on left side downward & right side upward.
