In the application insights page, I am not getting any options like you are getting under the instrument your application...it's coming blank for every languages. Why is it so?

Sandeep with this ping test the problem is with most clients that the dns name has to be exposed to internet which is not recommended. INstead of this i guess telemetry can be used! Any idea about this?

See ping test is to check url availability on multiple azure regions. And if u will not expose dns name, how the end user will access application. In prod, u always expose the alias name of ur application and not actual dns name. Second, u can configure alerts on the basis of telemetry via log analytics. If u have created app insight, u have seen that it asks for log analytics while app insight creation. Hope i tried to clear ur doubt
