I don't know if you'll see this but I want you to know you saved my skin- I was just told I need to read the prayers of the faithful at my Grandmother's service tomorrow morning.
Hello Denise. Just wanted to say how thrilled I am with your channell as you have a truly beautiful voice and explain the spiritual teachings in a very clear and concise manner. I haven't come across such a very skilful manner of explaining the doctrines of the church. I find it hard to study on my own but your video's give me real inspiration. Thank you Denise Hope you have a nice day.
As a student in RCIA and a regular attendee of daily mass I have fallen in absolute love with the brand new and very relevant even matching up with news headlines in a way, the sweet spirit that fills The Prayer of the Faithful. When I didn't know what it was called, I referred to it as the prayer in behalf OF the world 🌎 FOR the world and all its inhabitants 🌍 along WITH the church around the whole world 🌏
Thank you so much. This is exactly what I needed. I’m having to read the prayers of the faithful at my best friends funeral and needed a little background to do them with the dignity they deserve. Thank you for the informative and helpful video :)
Hello Denise. Thank you for these resources. As the lector coordinator, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Enumclaw WA, I include your video's as a "resource" at the bottom of my weekly lector schedule. They have been greatly received by our lectors. May God bless the work of your video's. Will Nichols
Dear Denise, I really enjoy your youtube sessions. I find your sessions enriching and useful. God bless you and may God Strengthen and keep you going strong in our Lectors' ministry. Audrey-Church of St teresa Singapore
Yez..keep up the good work, Denise. I am surely gonna share your videos with my fellow lectors. God bless U abundantly. From a fellow lector in Singapore. ^_^
Thank you for creating this video. It is incredibly helpful. One question I have is what should we do with our hands as we read the prayers of the faithful?
Hi, thanks for watching! I would suggest doing the same with your hands during the petitions as you do with them while proclaiming, e.g. resting comfortably on the ambo, at your sides or better yet, use your fingers to follow the text as you speak so as not to lose your place. Thanks!!
Hi there, I’m just wondering when at what time you would walk up? I’m assuming it would be after the homily? Thank you for the video, it was very helpful.
