I love the power assist...you always have to pedal back home 🏡 and it's good to know you can just relax riding back when you get carried away going long distances...
This thing would be perfect for my senior father, at age 83 he is slowly but surely getting too physically weak for even a scooter, but still needs a vehicle of some sort to remain mobile. This here trike has a nice basket for "stuff" (he carries around a folding chair, water, etc) and fits a decent shopping haul.
Thankyou Robert! - My wife bought herself one and we're very happy with the build quality. I'm over 6 feet tall, and I found that "I" felt a little unbalanced, because I had the seat up so high for my long legs. For my 5 foot tall wife, it seemed very stable. We added "baskets" to the pedals so that her feet could not accidentally slide off the pedals - a good safety feature for someone with mobility issues, as a foot slipping forward off the pedal would surely end up in a leg break, or worse. - Cheers!
So glade you did a review of this tricycle. I’ve been looking at their tricycle for sometime now because I do have limited mobility and think this might help me get exercise without having problems. Thank you for sharing this information.
Thank you for showing one of these, there are many that will find value in this review. So glad you and Ily can now ride together, I’m sure she will enjoy it!❤
Everyone should know. I bought 2 lectric trikes for me and my wife last July. One of the trikes came with a bent wheel on the back, and the other one had two flat tires. Lectric ebikes sent us a new wheel but I bought new tubes for the tires. Now both bikes have bad rear axle bearings and the bikes are not usable. We have put 117 miles on one trike and 104 miles on the other all neighborhood riding. I sent video of the bearing movement, and noise. they told me I had to pack up the bike in original packing and ship it back 1000 miles just to get it fixed or replaced. I asked for a shop service manual but they refused. These bikes are cheaply made and service is poor. So much for savings.
Happy Wednesday Robert! The trike looks pretty cool, it would probably be good for grocery runs and errands to and from the RV. In my neighborhood it would be OK for bike paths, parks and less busy streets but sidewalk riding would be problematic (lots of pedestrians and dog-walkers) I'll bet they'll sell a bunch of those things at Quartzsite next year!
Love that it folds into a compact size and really great to have as an emergency vehicle in case you get stranded in your car. Maybe also a bug out vehicle.🤔
Ive been thinking of getting one because of my back issues I haven’t been able to ride my regularLectric bike because my balance is off I think I would love this better! Will definitely be using your code thanks !
That's a nice setup. That would be nice in the campgrounds especially the back cargo area for your stuff for the pool or showers and groceries. Hey its weird to see you around your home. So use to seeing you on the road. Thanks for the review.
So darn cool! I can't manage to balance on a bike so that would be awesome!! By the way, the brand name reminds me of that song "Electric, lectric lectric, Electric, lectrik lectrik!" from the good ol' times!
Great review. I love my Lectric 2.0. I don’t know if I’d like the Trike as I’d be afraid of relearning how to ride it and then forgetting once I’m on a two wheeler and losing my balance. But that’s just me. Thanks for the review!
Great video. I have been thinking about the trike for a while now. Just need to figure out how to load and unload into the truck by myself (probably with some ramps). I have the XP 2.0, but I have some balance issues that have made it difficult for me to ride.
I’m looking at getting one of these tricycles as well for the same reasons. My problem is if it will fit in back of my suv. Don’t have a big suv so it maybe a problem. Wish you the best on it. I am very close to getting one if nothing else than to get a little exercise in my neighborhood. If we don’t use it we lose it my grandma used to say. I’ve had to rehab a number of times and amazed at how the body can heal if we work at it
A little helmet tip ... the "V" part of the straps should be just under your ears. I wouldn't want you to strangle yourself with that strap! .... just sayin'. :). * I had to replace the front chainring on my ebike because of the "ghost peddling" at higher speeds. Peddling with no resistance.... ...
I love your new handlebar setup for the cameras! What mount are you using? Thank you Robert! We got the XP and both me and my wife love it! The trike is definitely tempting!
Robert - You must have blown through at least 3 Stop Signs. Just kidding 🙂 But I'm curious, is the Trike hard to pedal when it's not under electric assist?? 🤔🤔
That bike is not made for sidewalks, its to wide. You come across with someone with a walker your going to hurt them. Please stay off with bikes in general and especially that type 3 wheels. I know what your going to say what about hoverounds or wheelchairs. They go much slower and are tried and proven also center of gravity is much lower for them.
