Exceptionally good lecture, about the audio sound I had moved from cast to my main TV and changed my setting on my laptop for my headphone and the sound was good all clear. Summary, as I am writing this the year is 2022 the lecture took place 2003 - 19 years has passed. We are now in a place where some parts of society are trying to shut down the whole wording language the word woman. Trying to replace the word of breastfeed, take away the word mother. Or am I to late and this was always in place? Dr Grudem goes right back to Genesis and the creation of man and that he believes that Adam was created with a leadership role both Adam and Eve are equal before the fall. However, Adam does take on a leadership position with both having difference roles. As Dr Grudem goes through the evidence (The bible) bringing the audiences attention to key scriptures. For example, ‘So, God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him, male and female created he them.’ Genesis 1v27, King James Bible. That we are equal to representative God here on earth and not to believe the lie - women inferior to men and men are superior to woman. The blame of sin fell on Adam not Eve and Dr Grudem went on to explain that it was not Adam at the tree but Eve. However, Adam had in a sense a lead responsibility which was given to him at the start of creation. 'Male and female created he them; and blessed them and called their name Adam in the day when they were created.' Genesis 5v2 King James Bible. What Dr Grudern is saying that Adam is a form name for Mankind (not the name Adam). But to demonstrate Man’s lead authority. This makes sense in terms of the role play we have in society. We have authority in our life, from parents, father taking the lead role (I am writing generally.) As there are children or adults not brought up with a mother or father. The wife taking the role to support her husband. Morerover, there is a balance between the two participants. Husband to fully support and listen to his wife. Overall, we are equal men and women. Dr Grudem also discussed the Trinity, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and the relationship and authority. Earlier, I wrote how the language of the word women is slowly being taken away or debated. Why is this happening? What is going to happen in 19 years from 2022. Then I think back to our Creator our Saviour in the beginning God created the heaven and the earth and on the six day he created Man. ‘And the rib which the Lord God had taken from man, made he a woman and brought her unto the man. And Adam said it is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of man.’ Genesis 2. V22 and V23, king James bible. The word woman will never be taken away no matter how many debates goes on. Adam had the authority from God’s authority to call Eve (Woman).
