In this video we we have studied the variable frequency speed control of induction motor which is type of speed control from the stator side.Here we have discussed why we are varying V/f instead of only f.We have also laid down the concept VFD drive in to it.In this video you will also get to know about the Voltage Source Inverter(VSI) and Current Source Inverter(CSI).

But sir flux is inversely proportional to the frequency... Frequency badhne se flux kam honaa chaahiye naa sir??

What will the effect on power factor if frequency is decreased and voltage is kept constant in induction motor and vice versa please explain as soon as possible

Good explanation.. Does V/f also remains constant in vector controlled VFD ? i.e. if a motor which is rated as 460V/60Hz is made to run at 30 Hz, does the voltage still remain 460V ?
