Lecture 36:Anaerobic Treatment of Wastewater: UASB Reactor 

Can I ask what if the wastewater that is coming in contains some suspended solid, which when in contact with the sludge blanket increases the amount of granules. Do we need any discharges from the UASB reactor for the accumulate of the sludge blanket?
