The two hosts are not up to the speed on complex economic development in today's world. Professor Wolf has done an excellent job. We appreciate his work. My only question is if we do not vote for Trump and then who is out there to vote for ? A walking dead man that can't find his way on the stage or climb the stairs to his Presidential Jet.

Americans fetishize electoral politics terribly, I know, but voting isn't always a particularly important activity. If the entire electoral system is dysfunctional, as it is right now, then you're much better off doing union work, antiwar work or other community-based organization as the serious political business of the day. Throw in a vote for a third party if you like one of them, but really - the quicker we get over this lazy over-reliance on electoral theatrics the better.

As a capitalist economist, politician, who do want to change the existing system- eg..change of money to dollars - will be a great tragedy, like that of demonetisation. Already there is inflation giving great burden to citizens.

Indian economy was smooth running before demonetisation. Demonetisation of existing money then changing to dollars will give a dead blow to the economy alongwith the inflationary burden.

I don’t know if he has ever been to China, he never mentioned it. US as an empire is ruled by elites to begin with whereas China since 1949 is not. Therefore China does not have the same employer/employee problems. In China, rather capitalists the private sector is headed by entrepreneurs. Gifted entrepreneurs lead educated work force guided by government planning maximise economic gains for all. Therefore China could eradicate abject poverty and drastically raised living standards. As the empire fades, US elites will lose powers but most still get to keep their money, billionaires shall remain as billionaires. While they are still in power, globally they have 800 military bases, domestically they have National Guards, FBI, police and even control the laws and the media. Even there are 50,000 Richards, they may well end up like the students sitting on the grass at Columbia. China on the other hand is leading the rest to save world from the empire and global warming.
🎉The two wealth blocs mentioned are not helpful in any way to the safety and success of the working class because both are capitalist in nature. It makes little difference to me as a working class woman who makes money off of my labor and employs me for insufficient wages.
