Can you let me know how they do this? I was approached by a girl on facebook who then asked to have a call with me last night. When I googled her church and found out this was it. I asked her "Ok, do you wish to call me in order to recruit me" She said "No not at all, I genuinely like meeting other Christians" Then we had a 40 min call where she didbt mention about recruiting. She seems a genuine girl but is her main motive to the connection merely to lure me in to this church?

They are actually genuine people who think they are doing this for God, that is we’re it gets complicated. At the end of the day that’s why we must love God first, our relationship/friendship with him comes first before anyone. It actually hurts God when people are deceived and twist his word

I’m from London, born and raised. And I was looking to make Christian friends so I downloaded bumble bff. I matched with a girl and she gave me her number straight away which I found very abrupt and a bit weird. She then began texting me and invited me to a Christian event. She never told me about any Bible studying. They are very secretive! So I was feeling unwell and had a cold or a flu and she kept pushing me to come to the event! So I thought okay maybe she’s just extroverted and comes off as pushy and bossy. So I thought let me go to the event. When I got to the event there were other young (20-25 year old) black Christian UK women. I thought woah I finally have Christian friends. We got along during the event but when the event ended and I was ready to go home one of the women were being very pushy towards me and basically forced me to join Bible studying. So I just joined. The next day when I was at home she messaged me saying let’s meet up for Bible studying so I did. The women told me that she doesn’t believe in dreams and that God cannot give you signs and messages in dreams. She also said that she doesn’t cancel bad dreams because it shows you’re fearful and don’t have faith in God basically. Whilst reading the Bible during the “Bible studying” I looked up and caught the woman giving me an evil glare. Then she registered me with the Bible course and they go by the name “Bible promise course” again I thought it was just a normal Bible course. She said the course is 6 months long and it will be with online and in person students. I was on TikTok one day and I was just scrolling causally and that’s when I saw a video of a black British Christian woman warning others that SCJ are a Korean cult and that they are recruiting people in London via the name “Bible promise course” I said no way. That’s when I went on the Bible promise course website and read the details properly. I found out that the course is ran by the same people that run SCJ. God saved me from these evil people. We must forgive and pray for them!

Yeah you will definitely get that feeling of being duped, but with time that feeling will phase out. Praying that as you continue to seek him, he will reveal more of himself to you... If the Bible is misinterpreted the doctrine is false. The Bible says Jesus is the way the truth and the life and nobody comes to God except through him. John 14:6

They committed to misinterpreting the bible & proclaiming a false Messiah (Their new Messiah, Man hee Lee) SCJ even equates him to Jesus in that they believe it is through Man Hee Lee & joining SCJ that one is saved. Thats false. We are saved by Gods Grace through Faith in Jesus Christ our Lord and saviour. Jesus is the only way to the father, at no point did he promise us a new messenger through whom we would be saved.

@@emsyourlife but those people don't say their pastor is Jesus, but that he got revelation of the true meaning of the book of revelation. it would make sense if you also bring the trueeanings of the book of revelation that we see and compare other that making saltless arguments. Reveal to us what God has shown you. Because all through the bible we know God uses people to preach to fellow people, so if you refuse the claims of this man and you feel he is wrong, reveal to us the book of revelation, that we learn from you. These people don't interpret the bible using their own heads as you are doing. they don't even through just one verse of the bible as you do, they have gone all through the bible to let the bible interpret the bible. Thanks that you advertise them so that many people know about them and find out the truth about them for themselves.

Hi Naomi! All I can say is that you can turn those feelings into prayers; Interceding for them. And since you have no way of reaching out to them, the only thing you can do is to commit them into God's hands. Also although you may not have their numbers, they may still have yours and would reach out to you one day when they are thinking of leaving SCJ. But for now, I'd say commit them into the hands of God. The Lord that gave you discernment and set you free will also do the same for them.

Hi! Oh not at all… The word that they taught wasn’t good because 1) it’s not the good news as spoken in the word of God 1 Corinthians 15:1-4. 2) it is truth mixed with lies so in essence it is still false gospel. For example they say Lee Man Hee is the second advocate. However the Bible John 14:16 tells us this advocate is the Holy Spirit. And there are many more lies… I’d advice not to be curious because that’s how curiosity almost led me to eternal destruction… (Edit: I’m not saying not be curious. Being curious is good because you want to gain more understanding) …. but channel your curiosity to knowing more about God. How can I walk closely with God? What are somethings that I can do that will be pleasing in the eyes of God…. We ask this not to win God’s favor but out of love we have for him based on the love He showed us first… 1 John 4:19 Something I realized so far is that I’ve been to churches and although they teach the truth I’m still empty and hungry. And God made me realize my satisfaction and my hunger can only be quenched by spending personal time with Him. So you need the solid word? Go to God. Spend time in his presence; studying the word, praising and worshiping Him…. I’m currently in this process…. It’s not easy but it is worth it

In reading a response I was reminded of A sermon that I heard years ago in my hometown church. It was about Judas and how the devil entered him at the time of Jesus‘s betrayal. In reading John 14:16, yes, it does tell us that another advocate, this we are truth also known as the Holy Spirit would be sent. But one thing that I noticed is that… It seems that in the New Testament specifically, I’m not well-versed in the Old Testament, still learning… That spirits work through people. In the forecast was, we see the spirit of Satan enter Judas, even Jesus noticed that, and us the crucification process began. So in reading your response, now I’m wondering, if we know that the spirit of Satan worked through people back then, is it possible, and I have absolutely no idea… I might be reading too much into this, that the spirit of truth/Holy Spirit works through someone today? I mean, and again I need to… I hope I’m not mixing my words here, didn’t God work through people as well? So why can’t the Holy Spirit work through people? That doesn’t mean that Mr. Lee is that person… But what are your thoughts on that? Would love a few more scriptures that could help me make a decision once and for all.

My apologies, the title wasn’t intended to mislead. The word “false doctrine” in the title was meant to describe SCJ and not meant to say the video is an in-depth analysis of their teachings. If it was, I would have titled it differently. But I was led astray from the truth by their teachings and just sharing my experience. This video talks about how I was recruited.

I moved further from the church and secluded myself a bit, I started to get interested in learning about other Korean cults and then I realized SCJ was similar to them. I wrote down over 200 things from my research that was exactly the same

Just imagine all cults saying they are the way of Salvation then who should people follow. That's why the bible warns us that we should be careful of those proclaiming they are the Christ or saying come that Jesus is here. That we should not go there. The bible also says that there is no other name to be saved. Only through Jesus Christ, we receive our salvation. Praise be to God!
