What material is that that you used to create the reflection illusion?

wow, this is amazing. i got 2 questions for you, what is the finish on those stainless steel plates that makes them reflect in this way? this looks fantastic what kind of software are you using to animate the LEDs? i got a few led projects on my own, but i struggle on how to animate the LEDs. so far for me it is pure coding, i would love for a way to animate them like you did

Fade candy + raspberry pi. The light effects were actually pretty easy, because I made some images with colors and then basically scrolled through the images sampling a few pixels and it creates that effect. Not much coding needed!
