Something else that adds a nice touch to the new halos would be switchback bulbs in the turn signals. They stay solid white when they are on, and flash orange when using the turn signal
hey sal, I recommend doing the corner lights/side markers as well. I've noticed that not as many people try to merge into me after changing those out for LEDs, I think I'm much more visible on the road now
Hey bud! Definitely will have it done off camera The previous owner chopped the muffler off and it basically ended up melting one of the wires so we have to redo the harness Not looking forward to it 😂
Did all these on my car, the back up lights shine super bright through my clear housing taillights and it illuminates the whole area around me when reversing at night its amazing

@@SpiritDriven Yea man sounds good and you're welcome. Im learning a lot here and its been nice to see someone doing practical upgrades to such an old car before they start modding it. Ive always wanted a stick and a Miata will be my first one after I purchase my daily driver. Hopefully prices will have leveled out by then lol.
You must have found out there is more to changing the turn signal lamps than that! Lower load from LEDs means the flasher unit flashes faster ("hyperflashing"). Either add an extra load resistor at each corner or change the 5.6kΩ resistor inside the flasher relay to a 1MΩ resistor. BTW, it's easy to wire the surround LED of the headlight to show white when lights are on, or flash orange for turn signal.

Sal so after a month of the new headlights do you still think it was a great upgrade. I'm going to upgrade my miata headlights. In your video it looks like a huge improvement.
