A very fine product, without a doubt. It feels heavy and cumbersome at first, but once the straps are correctly adjusted the weight is nicely distributed around the head, and the battery pack counterbalances it so well that after a minute or two you barely notice it's there. For all-round use I would say this is better than the H19R, because runtimes are better: the H19 seems to put too much emphasis on lumens and not enough on battery life. There are some really good flashlight makers out there, but LEDLenser leads the pack because they put their money where their mouth is by offering a seven-year warranty. It's nice to know that mine will be covered until the year 2030.
When it comes to headlamps, the unpacking and package contents and how the lamp actually clicks and looks are totally irrelevant - all that really matters are outdoors tests. When it comes to headlamps reviews - only very rarely someone actually goes outdoors, but why as the headlamps are not for indoors use behind your desk.
