I brought a separate packet of connectors but I couldn't get a good connection. So now I'm force to buy better connectors. I was wondering if I could buy water proof connectors? The have wires in stead of flat curits.
I have 3 rolls of strip lights that I wanna join toguether. Two 65.5 ft rolls and I think a 25ft roll. They all are RGB but one roll different brand. So how would I do these, do I just need to connect one roll of strip lights to the outlet and these will give power to all the rolls?? do I need more stuff besides the jumper connectors i have? Do I just cut the other rolles and keep using these jumpers to join them and that's it or is not as easy as that?
Rick, What is below the loft bed that you need so much light for? An art studio? What power source do these LED diy rolls of lights run on? If they are low power, would they also run off a small 1.5v or 9v battery for very long?
It is my kid's desk. I think I used a little under 36ft (of the 50ft roll). He has been having fun with them. It's not overly bright. These use a 24v transformer. All 50ft draws around 24w (@120v) on the highest brightness. I did a video a year and a half ago on some battery operated LED lights: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-8ASOi5LZS9Q.html I used them to make a "Big Face Box" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-81gHPtjG7VY.html.
