ele removeu um capacitor defeituoso que estava interferindo com a oferta de corrente de 12 volts, e como resultado a corrente para o display estava sendo interrompida. Então, ele removeu o capacitor e substituiu-o por um fio/cabo de jumper para encurtar os dois lados onde o capacitor foi colocado antes.

Dost mera tv sony model no. 46EX720 LCD Digital colour tv hai to uska panel nahi chal raha hai to kya o repaired ho sakta hai kya ? Agar repair ho sakta hai to uska bhi 1 video banao na dost aur solution bhi de do.

I have a similar problem on a LG 34UM59 monitor, the image is shown but it’s all whitened, like with a maximum brightness set... how can I understand what element needs to be replaced on the t-con board? Can it be the motherboard? Thank you!!

Normally ye filter caps rehta hai - replace na bhi karo aur open rakho to bhi device chal jayega. Always good to replace if gone bad but if you can't get it, leaving the shorted/leaky cap open will do th trick - for bypass/decaps/filter caps.

I think you must replace the capacitor because it is used to bypass spikes and protect chips from damage.
