Robert Plant had been in an accident prior to the recording of the Presence album where this was from, and recorded his vocals from a wheelchair. Still did an amazing job, clearly!
If you didn’t relax then it’s nobody’s fault but yours. Love this song. That stop and start rhythm along with Bonzo’s drumming is just awesome. They’re all in their element. Classic Zeppelin.
I effing ADORE your reactions!!! And, I am 62 years "young", and I am a DEEP Zep. head. So much so, that it would annoy my friends, lol. BTW, greetings from the good 'ol U.S.A. New York City, to be exact. I had the honor of seeing Zep. 2X in one week in '77. No two shows were alike. "Nobody's Fault But Mine" is on my top five list of their vast catalogue. And, John "Bonzo" Bonham (their drummer), IMO was the greatest to ever grace the stage. Man, the 70's were fun, LMFAO!!!!!
1977 Madison Square Garden I was there and they opened with this song !!!!! I was 17 yrs old !!!!! The greatest show ever !!! They played 31/2 hrs straight !!! Soooo good. I have to say you are my favorite reactor , the passion , the energy your love of music is so refreshing. I'm 63 and you got me dancing here. Lol. Well not really but bopping anyways !!
Brother. I’ve binged with you for a few days. You’re a part of this 65 year olds family. Gracias and all the best to you and yours. Always. Don’t change.
Yayyyyyy, Led Zeppy day!💜💜💜 I'm happy that you're happy and we are ALL happy!!!!! 🤗🤗🤗 If it's making you feel naughty, you are listening to it correctly 🤣🤣🤣
Lol. Just started listening and thought....hmm let's see, ADHD, a bag of chocolate covered coffee beans and listening to a banger from Led Zeppelin....oh, we are in for quite the reaction today!!😂😂
We’re happy, yes sir. Please also react to “When the Levee Breaks” “Kashmir” “10 Years Gone” “In My Time of Dying” and “Fool in the Rain”. Also remember Nightwish???? “Ghost Love Score” live at Wacken Open Air 2013.
Yes Hector, they go from organized chaos to melody, back into organized chaos, then back into melody, then back into organized chaos, et cetera, et cetera.
Brain I am LOVING your reactions! I have just transcended back to my teenage years hearing this and other Zep stuff for the fist time. You are me then! Keep it up ❤️ 🔥
Great reaction as always! Can't go wrong with most any Zeppelin song. For something a bit different from them, check out "Thank You". I would say one of the most beautiful love songs ever. Keep up the good work!
Absolutely love every song Led Zeppelin performs. They are the GOAT of classic Rock! Love watching your reactions. You always put a smile on my face! Your the best!
Awesome Led Zeppelin song 🎶 ! The harmonica add a nice blend along w.l/ guitar 🎸 and drum 🥁. and I’m glad you’ve got a great relaxation and I’m getting my relaxation as well from working and studying almost all week. thanks for sharing your reaction, a thumbs up!😄👍#ledzeppelin
Mark, I just saw a meme on Facebook that made me think of you. It was just words: THEM: Wow, you swear a lot. ME: Thanks, I’m really fucking good at it.
The way I figure it, there's enough great music out there for Brain Squeeze Reactions to last me the rest of the way. Thanks for all the pure reactions, Good Sir!
This is a Blind Willie Johnson cover. Zeppelin idolized the original American blues masters. They have covered Memphis mini, Howlin’ Wolf, Willie Dixon, Lead Belly
You are such an animated character that adds to your reactions. Keep it up... I'm having tons of fun and a laugh or two watching you take in the tunes. Love ya man... Rock on
Great reaction as always. I think the fact you haven't heard all these bands before and you are discovering all of this new music now probably makes you appreciate it more. You are also bringing me back to some of the music I used to listen to a lot and I love it.
Led Zeppelin blows my mind every time! Thanks for making me reconnect after so many years. You remind me of myself. ( it’s a compliment) love the Brain Squeeze reactions. ❤ it makes me smile
Welcome back. You love the drummer from Zeppelin so much, that YOU HAVE TO REACT TO "MOBY DICK" live from Madison Square Garden. Also "In My Time of Dying". YOU'll LOVE THEM
With you mate, Bonham is absolute gold! The more you hear these songs, the greater your appreciation of Bonham on drums. Which is hard to say, given the talent of the rest of the band but wholly fuck, have you ever heard drums like that elsewhere?
You are so incredibly funny 😂 Always makes my day, watching your videos. I’m happy. You‘re feeling Led Zeppy with body and soul. Love it. What about „Kashmir“? ❤
You're right: The drummer IS a genius! All four of 'em, actually. Or at least brilliant beyond words. You REALLY wanna hear Bonzo's (the drummer) genius? Huh? OK, good--check out the studio version of "In my time of dying." Starts out molten bloozy slow, then erupts into a galloping romp that storms the gates of Heaven. The singer begs St. Peter to open them up, while John Bonham pounds on them like God himself owed him money. Or like he's had a bag of coffee beans.
Did you know that Led is one of Tom MackyD's favorite Bands? Anywho.. welcome back. Hope you have more Tom coming up soon, your reactions make my day. I am a product of the 80's big hair band movement. Guns&Roses, Whitesnake and Damn Yankees ( High Enough is 🔥) were among my favorites. All love.
Super excited to see if your feeling this one. Happy to see you did this song I thought you would like it. This type of music I think you really don’t only listen to it but ducking feel it brother
Something I really think would blow your wig completely off is, "Green Grass and High Tides" by the Outlaws. Love your channel, every reaction is fucking gold! Keep rockin' brother!
Don't think you've done it, but AC-DC, Whole Lot Of Rosie. Live version from River Plate stadium will really blow you socks off. Keep up the fabulous reactions 👍
With all due respect to the incredible and inspiring Blind Willie Johnson... this is a complete remake with a few snips of Willie's lyrics for inspiration. A cover suggests the lyrics are entirely intact and there are light changes to the arrangement of the music but the melody might be mostly intact. This is beyond Blind Willie's wildest imagination though of course the inspiration for this epic reconstruction/tribute.
@johntuttle9544 With all due respect its a cover, They changed just enough so they could screw willie johnson out of royalties. Which they got away with for quite a while.I could be wrong but I'm going to guess you're a Led Zeppelin Apologist and think it was completely fine to screw over the great black bluesmen that influenced them. It wasn't. That would be like me today changing Kashmir a little bit and claiming the song as my own. Of course nowadays I wouldn't get away with it, But back when led zeppelin was ripping people off there were few regulations.
Great stuff, as always, geezer. “One Nation Under A Groove” by Funkadelic. You will almost certainly get up and dance, so make sure those Sponge Bob boxers are freshly washed.
The drummer is a full blown genius Mark, seriously bro you gotta check out Moby Dick, Bonzo does the most fucking insane drum solo, you’ll seriously lose your shit watching him 😂😂
FYII ITS .... KILLER CHANGES IN TIME SIGNATURE OR ( SYNCOPATION ) Progressive rock was famous for its traffic-light stops and starts, but Led Zeppelin generally eschewed that approach, deploying shifts of time-signature and tempo, along with a movement of the placement of rhythmic emphasis (pulses) and varying degrees of SYNCOPATION within the same song.
Chemical fact: Coffee, and of course coffee beans, contains caffeine, which is a stimulant. Chocolate contains a compound called theobromine. When you look at the composition of these molecules, they are almost identical - same structure, just a variation in one of the side groups [ substitution of a hydrogen atom for a methyl group ]. The metabolic effect is therefore likely to be very similar, so you're getting a double dose. There is a third molecule with the same basic structure, and that is used in the treatment of a heart condition and asthma.
The other compound is theophylline. All three of these xanthine based alkaloids are present in cacao, tea and coffee. ps. " In 2004, a small clinical study compared theophylline to methylphenidate for the treatment of attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder in children and adolescents. ..." , so it might be doing you good.
