Led Zeppelin formed in 1968 and went on to become one of the most influential, innovative, and successful groups in modern music, having sold more than 300 million albums worldwide. The band rose from the ashes of The Yardbirds, when Jimmy Page brought in John Bonham, John Paul Jones, and Robert Plant to tour as The New Yardbirds. In 1969, Led Zeppelin released its self-titled debut which was produced by Page, as were all the subsequent albums. It marked the beginning of a 12-year reign, during which the group was widely considered to be the biggest and most innovative rock band in the world.

No Comrade, they will not. The Party™ has issued initiatives to completely break down society and degrade culture so the state can take total control. This will require everyone to hand in any 70s rock albums by white artists. Despite most rock being ideologically beneficial compositions, the band members themselves must be photoshopped less white - before being erased from the Collective Consciousness - particularly Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull and Yes. Citizens will then have their albums replaced with Bruno Mars, Rihanna and Linda Ronstadt, as well as Islamic Progressive music. MTV will no longer tolerate bands acting "white" by singing in English correctly, having above average tunes, playing their own instruments or using intelligent lyrics. Bourgeois values and the memory of them must be erased from the Collective Consciousness with the help of historical revisionism in the academia, news media, and the Party's branches in the entertainment sector. The proletariat will then undergo re-education and be released from ungood thoughts, by instilling a culture of materialism, physical beauty, sex and financial success without effort or practical ability.

My mom was a professional modern dance performer and teacher. She also grew up throwing social dance parties for the college kids every week. So she could do all that too. She LOVED Led Zeppelin and the first time she heard this song (late 70's as I was getting into rock) she launched into the jitterbug. "Mom! Oh... well... that's kinda' cool." Mom was really fun.

There's a reason Zep is the best band ever. Jimmy Page, the riff myster (NO ONE came up with more diverse, original, ground breaking music) along with Plant, in his own right the riff myster of melody and rhythm, couldn't be matched. Then you throw in the power house father of rock drumming, Bonzo, and master musician / composer JPJ, there's really no band like them. They could rock your gut to the core or send you off on realms of fantasy and intrigue. Amazing.

yeah, the first time i heard led zeppellin was in my dad's car when i was 5-6 years old, he (my dad) took the cd for this album and the one i liked the most was "rock and roll", i heard the voice of robert plant, the solo of the jimmy page, the drum solo of john bonham, the little piano of john paul jones playing in the background and I was totally impressed with all their performance, I remember that moment until today, and yes, led zeppelin really is the most awesome band i have ever seen in my life
