Hello Crypto Dad, Thank you for taking time to reply. I’ve sorted the problem. The second Nano X was faulty (it also had a battery issue) and Ledger replaced it, so all is now good.
Have you done a previous video about managing more than one Ledger with Ledger Live? I know that you had a tip about this in this video but a full video explaining how to manage more than one ledger would be much appreciated.
Let's say you have 3 ledger devices. If you want to manage and maintain the portfolio's of these 3 devices seperately from each other, then: you'd just install the Ledger Live application ONCE onto your computer. Then you'd create 3 user accounts on that computer. Then for each of these user accounts you can set up the Ledger Live to manage one of those 3 devices.
Great content, as always. The only info that I want to update is that crypto is not stored in the Ledger device. Your crypto is on the blockchain, and the Ledger wallet is a key to access these assets with the safest method.
Can I suggest that if someone puts on the wrong number twice, just press the "Power Off" button on ledger. and enter your pin number again. Good show Brother.
Can I have two different users on one ledger live desktop interface? In other words can l switch the user on the ledger live app without switching the user on my desktop?
Thanks for the vid CryptoDad! A never ending debate amoung Ledger users.....Some say you can put your crypto, any crypto, on your Ledger. I say your crypto is always on the blockchain it purtains to. The Ledger is only there to allow transactions and movement of your crypto. And your crypto is not sitting in the device. Your opinion?

Hi, great video. around time 6:45 you mention 3rd party apps that maybe don't seem right and to check that latest app is up to date in ledger live. What about wallets for Ada, Avax and Luna, for example, that are not supported by ledger live? The app is in the device, but not on ledger live, so no app to update. Is there a way to see these?

If I may, I have a question about a video you did earlier about setting up the Coinbase wallet.My Question is, with your experience in this field, If I were to setup the Coinbase wallet and transfer crypto to it, and Coinbase goes bankrupt, does that affect the Coinbase wallet? Some things went wrong I have myb24 word ot does the process and it's good but still the same message when transferring I did check the address for each of my coins the address are different. What can I do in this situation please help?
If not done already, you should do a video on the Ledger Nano battery problem and how to resolve it yourself. It's a very common problem with the device.

Hello sir. I have the ledger nano x this my first time using it. I started my recovery words and my service stopped as I was writing them down. My question is do I have to buy a new one after a few trys? Love your videos keep them coming thank you sir .
It’s probably better if you start over. Just enter your pin incorrectly three times, and it will take it back to factory settings. Then you can start the whole process from the beginning with a new set of words.
Also about the oops message. If you have a passphrase setup make sure you are signing into your ledger with the correct pin. If not it will spit out this message

Thanks for this.. Do you know if it is possible to lengthen the amount of time on the Ledger device, before you need to unlock it again with the pin, instead of having to keep unlocking it every minute or two, when using it.. Very annoying!
I have three types of Bitcoin in three different wallets within my Nano. If I moved all my bitcoins into just one main Bitcoin wallet will all my bitcoins be automatically converted into the bitcoin standard of this main wallet?

Can you store in Ledger Nano X crypto that is staked? I have several crypto in CoinBase that are staked, including ETH/ETH2. CoinBase says I can't trade ETH/ETH2 that is taked and that to earn APY/APR, one must leave my coins with CoinBased. I'm not looking to sell or trade, just store and save in Ledger.

Great and informative videos - thank you. One question re. Ledger Live Auto-lock being set to "never" to prevent Nano X timing out after (default) 10 minutes. I've tried it, but Nano X still times out after 10 minutes. Any ideas?
You might also disable screen saver. It can also be found in the security settings. Actually, it sounds like you may be using an older version of the firmware. I believe the two settings now are pin lock and screen saver. I usually need to disable both of those to prevent it from timing out.
@@CryptoDad Thank you for your reply. I am using latest Ledger firmware 1.10.2 and software OS 2.1.0. (New Nano X). All updates implemented. Unfortunately, disabling screensaver did not help so I have set the Nano X back to 10 minutes, the maximum allowed (or so it appears). I notice on Ledger Live "Settings" that "Auto-lock" states: "Automatically lock Ledger Live when inactive". This doesn't seem to refer to Nano X? However, if I can prevent Nano X timing out, that would be very helpful. Thank you for your patience.
Just had an email from Ledger Support which may interest you. In menu "Security", move down to "PIN lock" and set to "No PIN lock". Doing so takes you straight back to Nano X PIN entry menu, which you can then re-enter to use the Nano X. Provided it is still (powered) connected via cable to Ledger Live desktop, Nano X will now stay "Awake" until either "Settings" - "Quit" or, once disconnected from Ledger Live desktop, after 10 minutes (default). The Ledger Live desktop "Auto-lock", set to "Never" does not appear to be the solution (?). Hope above helps. Keep up the great videos. Your last one re. Keystone Pro caused me some concern. I do not intend to use Ledger's Seed Recovery and I noted you yourself said you were unconcerned about rumours of the Ledger seed phrase being hacked through a Firmware update. I just wonder why Ledger did it? It's certainly tarnished their reputation.

I have two Nano S PLUS, I use one in one chrome account and the other in another chrome account, (on the same PC) in the first one when I do a trade and want to authorize, the Ledger Live page appears to open and authorize in the device and in the second one it does not open the Ledger Live account and it only asks me to authorize on the device… how do I make the first one direct me directly to the device without having to open the Ledger Live page? (as in the second device) to make the operation faster? Can you help me please? Thank you!

I just recently plugged my ledger an it had my Cardano but it synchronizes & updated. But now I don’t see my Cardano but I see the history of the transaction of it so how can I put it back it be seen. Just to be clear I have not taken anything out at all. But my Cardano account shows Zero.
Let's say I have two ETH accounts, one for me and another one for my mom. So if I lose the Ledger device, and then recover from seed phrase, let's say not even in Ledger Live, but another wallet. Those two accounts aren't there anymore and it's just one ETH account with all ETH holdings, right?

Their accounts mirror one another, except ... one Nano X has Algorand (ALGO) and Decred (DCR) installed, but whatever I do I cannot install ALGO or DCR on the second Nano X, despite it having 780KB free space. Any ideas? Thanks.
Well, I'm assuming that they are both using the same 24 word seed phrase? or are they just kind of parallel? Either way, that second nano may have some extra apps on there that are taking up space. You can safely delete apps off your device without destroying the wallets. Usually the ledger nano X has enough space for lots of apps, but you may have managed to fill yours up. Just look for some apps that you may not use that often and delete them, and now try to reinstall the ALGO and DCR. You can always reinstall those other apps later if you need them.

I'm very disappointed in my new ledger nano x. It won't connect to either of my computer's. I've got the latest Ledger live, downloaded and installed NOV 22'. I can't even make it through the authenticity check. I've tried everything but disable my Norton security, honestly, I'm scared to. Why would one have to disable their malware-virus protection to get their wallet of all things to connect? What is up with Ledger's connection problems?
Hey Man, i'm a little worried......i have transferred all of my crypto from Coinbase to my ledger, i've got confirmations emails that it went through, but on my portfolio only 3 are showing up ETH, SOL and many others are not showing up in my assets. My Bitcoin and a couple others show up but many many others don't. do i have a setting or button cliecked? Please help man.
Crypto dad, I bought crow with knife on coinbase wallet and sent it to my ledger live polygon account and it shows sent but 3 days not showed up. But in coinbase homebase it shows up when I imported that account. Any help you can give me?
