She's great and stuff but stop being So Canadians claiming everything as ours ,Doro Pesch from Germany is the First Metal Queen and been around much longer, just saying!
I just saw her in concert. She was promoting her new album Fire and Gasoline, a killer album. It's her best work since the 80's and early 90's. Remarkably her voice is still amazing and she's still beautiful.
I Recorded and Saw This on Much Music on Canada Day July 1, 1992, CANADA'S 125 Birthday! I Transferred It from VHS TO DVD, A FEW YEARS LATER, AND IT TURNED OUT BETTER, WHEN GOING FROM ANALOGUE TO DIGITAL IN BOTH AUDIO & VIDEO QUALITY! I have SEEN & MET LEE AARON 5 TIMES! ALL 5 TIMES I HAVE RECEIVED HER AUTOGRAPH ALONG WITH HER BAND MEMBERS AND PHOTOS OF MYSELF WITH THEM! LEE AARON, CANADA'S METAL QUEEN IS MY FAVORITE CANADIAN LADY SINGER/ARTIST OF ALL TIME, HANDS DOWN! LIZZY HALE OF HALESTORM IS THE YOUNGER AMERICAN VERSION OF THE METAL QUEEN LEE AARON! I HAVE SEEN HALESTORM TWICE IN CONCERT & HAVE RECEIVED HER AUTOGRAPH & HER BAND'S AUTOGRAPHS TOO, ALONG WITH A PICTURE OF THEM WITH MYSELF! HALESTORM IS MY FAVORITE OF THE NEWER AMERICAN BANDS, HANDS DOWN TOO! LEE, LIZZY, & THEIR BAND MEMBERS ARE VERY TALENTED, COOL, & FRIENDLY PEOPLE TO MEET & GET TO KNOW ALSO! I LOVE IT! LEE AARON'S DRUMMER FROM 2000 TO THE PRESENT IS HER HUSBAND, JOHN CODY & LIZZY HALE'S LEAD GUITARIST IS HER BOYFRIEND, JOE HOTTINGER! HAPPY CANADA DAY, JULY 1, 2020 & HAPPY AMERICAN 4TH OF JULY, 2020, TO EVERYONE & ALL THE BEST! 🇨🇦🇺🇸😎😍👍👌🤘✌
I saw her that year too and she was wearing the exact outfit at Cayuga Speedway. I think it was Labor day weekend ---- a long time ago. It was Honeymoon Suite, Lee Aaron, Kim Mitchell and April Wine----- great concert!!
My old band Ter Horus (yeah I know stupid name) opened for Lee and her band in 1987 in Oshawa and they treated us fantastically and gave us a great sound mix on stage and were very complimentary about our band!
I was able to see her twice around this time. Trade and convention center in St. John and a,small arena in St. Stephen N.B. a week before another female rocker played at a local high school gym 10 miles up the road. You might have heard of her, Joan Jett and the Black Heaarts
20:39 - one of her best tunes - it's musically like Headpins with Darby Mills. She wrote it while she was bent over cleaning the bathtub or something, I'm enjoying the visual.
Man dose she ever rock!!!! Kicks the shit outta the northern pikes lol love your music!!! Thanks for posting this, me and my dad used to listen to some girls do in his truck when I’d pass him beers on the way home, it was a different time lol. Always a fond memory
love her and dated a guy who went to school with her and remained friends so whenever she was in Toronto she would visit him.. I got a phone call from her while watching a spotlight of her on Much.. Karen is a sweet woman, she was and is my fave Canadian female rocker!!!!
wasn"t loud enough for me i could still hear after the concert LMAO it was a great show it was the best start to summer break i have ever had she can rock that is for sure
@@mattiodowd3209 its Randy Cooke, i honestly dont know much about him other than his drumming on some girls do. I have seen him do some stuff on drumeo but thats it. He is a fantastic player.

Wow, Can't Stand the heat is a pretty close/ heavily inspired by Extreme's " Get the funk Out" if ever I did hear one. Great performer though and killer band here.
