To me, Lee Chaeyeon is the most interesting soloist in Kpop since Chung Ha blew up in 2018-19. She's an S-tier dancer, has a fun voice that suits her energy so well, and she and her company have made really interesting choices of songs and concepts. Really looking forward to where she goes in the next few comebacks!

Fun fact: The dance for Knock was too difficult for most average people that Chaeyeon had to simplify it several times on social media for people to be able to participate in the dance challenge for this song.

When Studio Choom started their Artist Of The Month series back in 2020 Chaeyeon was the first artist to be featured, you could check out her performances of 16 Shots and Instruction there to see more of her amazing dancing! You wondered if she might ever be in a group again, in fact her label WM had a group of trainees that she was supposed to debut with after izone but the company had financial difficulties and was bought by RBW (Mamamoo's label). As a condition of the acquisition all of the trainees were let go, Chaeyeon stayed on as a soloist because she had already signed an artist contract when she debuted with izone! Someday you should check out Chung Ha, she was the main dancer of IOI, the first Produce 101 group, she has an extensive solo career and is certainly also one of the best dancers in kpop! I'm telling you, Chaeyeon is known for her hairflips. Chaeyeon is known as the best dancer in 4th gen while her hair is the second best. Additional info, Chaeyeon competed on her 4th survival show in Street Woman Fighter. YGX also competed in that show. It's not like the typical kpop show that forms a group. It's all about dancing. You should check it out even in your own time.

while Chaeyeon didnt choreograph this herself, Rozalin, a member of her dance team WANT did. If you compare the original choreo to the official version, there are minor changes which i wouldn't be surprised if Chaeyeon made them. A lot of the moves are Chaeyeon's style if you've watched her do freestyle dance. It's also thanks to being on the same dance team that Rozalin was able to create a choreo that very much suits Chaeyeon. Also Chaeyeon will be partcipating in the Mnet show Queendom Puzzle, so you may see her in a group again sooner than you think LOL.

I binged watched your izone series I really enjoyed it and to be honest the last video really bugged me, to this day I still can’t believe mnet had the audacity to bring chaeyeon form 3rd place all the way to 12th place. Especially because she got so much hate for it, if she had ended up 3rd all those haters would have shut up,(in the first place it was so sus for her to go from 4th and drop all the way to 12 in one day) but no bcs she was 12 people would say things like she didn’t deserve to be in the group or she’s ugly and if fans complained abt her lack of screen time and lyric distribution ppl would be like well she ended up 12 it’s her own fault for being untalented so because of the hate she got you could probably imagine how enraged I was to hear she should have ended up 3rd. I really hope you check out a compilation of chaeyeon dancing and her artist of the month on studio choom she was the first idol to be featured it Anyways as for your choreography question after izone ended she decided she wanted to improve her dancing and joined a show with professional dancers her crew was called ‘want’ after the show her and the rest of the crew stayed friends and danced together from time to time and rozalin from ‘want’ choreographed knock for her anyways I’ve really been enjoying all the reactions you have on your channel

if you want to discover more solos from former members of iz*one I recommend Kwon Eunbi who was the leader in iz*one. Its sounds are just addictive! My favorite is Underwater. she just has a powerful and amazing voice! as music you can listen to Door which is his solo debut but you also have Glitch and more music

both her EPs are so good that the music alone would be able to make me a chaerish, on top of that chaeyeon is crazy talented, so I had no choice but to stan

Did you also know that her sister is Chaeryong from Itzy? She could've been in Itzy, but dropped out of the competition for her sister. There are alos videos of both sisters dancing together. I'm not sure if you already know this, but you have covered 4 of the Iz One members previously. Yujin and Wonyong from IVE, and Sakura and Chaewon from Le Sserafim. Eunbi and Yena have been doing pretty well with solo careers as well.

Hush Rush wasnt my vibe when it came out and imo it didnt really fit her conceptually (the music not the video,etc.) And I thought for a debut its fine, but KNOCK?! Love. I feel like it fits her so well and she looks like she's having so much fun which makes me like the song more. I hope they keep going in the direction and also keep leveling up her choreographies because we all know she'll master whatever they give her😭❤️

my biggest wish in kpop was that she stayed at jyp, debuted in itzy and then chaeryeong debuted in nmixx.. atleast then both would have solid careers... her solo career is quite wiffy.. still great music and ofc its chaeyeon.. she's talented.. but soloists especially female soloists dont seem to last long.. unless they're the cream of the crop in terms of vocals..
