Fucking spot on! I seen to many people who'd trained in the same circles as me over the years and the real one's are lovely because the knowledge of what they could do. But I've lost count on how often I've had that type of person who's trained a few times bragging in the pub about how hard they are. I used to love knocking them out on the mat and in the pub..
I've seen a guy knock out 4 bouncers on his own. There are lots of Lee Duffy's out there, just not ones who have an army of meat riders following them around to tell their stories.

Im from Middlesbrough and was 16 when lee died... Middlesbrough in those days was full of big lads who wanted the reputation to be the hardest in boro...lee might be the best known in boro at the time but there plenty of others who would carry on in the same manner...he was just a product of his environment... Every town as a hard man Stockport had Chris little who was on another level on the cobbles .they came from every corner of Manchester to fight him when he was on the door at the fir tree pub in Stockport and they all ended up with broken jaws. That's the thing about dealing, it tends to come about as a result of limited options, people who don't have a lot going for them. I’m from bishop Auckland I’m the same age as Lee and was in lower Newton in 85 with him and Durham in86 and 87 manny burgo and his brother where in there doing a six. Lee was 6ft 4 about 161/2 stone and was the real deal. When he died in 91 there was a double page spread in the Sunday people which was a National newspaper at the time. The last paragraph read I knew our Lee wouldn’t die of old age I thought he’d at least live to see thirty. That was a quote from Lee’s mother.
Yup, I was in Durham in 88 and 89. I had a job feeding the prisoners and he would always demand more meat from me in front of the screws. The fucker made me do press-ups in the holding cell in Boro courts before we got transported back to Durham. That was a long two hours.
